A Night Out

Lexa has had a rough day at work and is tired and all she wants to do is lay down. She needs to eat so she fixes a salad and grabs a glass of wine and goes to the couch, turns on the TV and eats. Her thoughts wonder to Clarke. She hasn't got to talk to her all day. After eating, she showers and gets into bed to read but before she does, she wants to call Clarke. She finds her number and pushes call. "Hello beautiful," Clarke says and Lexa can almost see her smile through the phone. "Oh you're smooth Ms, Griffin, and I am fine," Lexa says. "How was your day?" Asked Clarke. "Long, Lexa says with a sigh, " but I am home now laying in bed talking to the most beautiful woman and I am better now." "Awe, you're too sweet, says Clarke. Lexa then asked her how her day was and Clarke hesitates but then says, "I got a lot done with painting today. I also got another offer to paint for a very wealthy man and it will pay very well, I am excited." "Oh that is so good Clalrke, that is so much better of a day than I had, and Lexa laughs. Clarkes heart sinks, she wants to tell Lexa, to be honest with her, but she thinks it's best for now not to worry her. They talk for a bit and Lexa asked, "Clarke, I really didn't want to do this over the phone but I can't wait, "will you go on a date with me, I mean, a real date?" Carke doesn't hesitate and says "Yes, I would love to go on a date with you!" Lexa tells her when, which will be this coming weekend, Sat night and they agree to formal. Lexa wants to show Clarke just how special she is to her and wants to retreat her to the date she deserves. Clarke is beyond excited and wants to show Lexa how much she really does adore her. They talk for a little while longer until Clarke can hear the exhaustion in Lexa and she tells her she needs to get some rest. Lexa does just that and falls asleep thinking of the date with Clarke.

For the next 3 days, Clarke visits Raven, she paints, and Lexa holds meetings and has boring lunches with men who want conflict while doing business and Lexa smiles and hates it. She does have to put one man in his place when he thinks it's ok to put his hand on her knee. Lexa doesn't put up with such behavior and don't mind tell them quickly. She had rather not have their business as to be treated like that. There are plenty of companies who woud.loce to be in their place and have Lexas help. She decides to call the person over the man whom she met with and they told her they would make sure to send someone else to talk with her because they really need Lexa . Lexa agrees. The next day she lands a multimillion dollar deal! She is very pleased with the outcome. She is good at what she does and that is why she is the most sought after woman CEO. She dont mind investig in companies and helping them stay afloat and make sure they all make money. She donated millions to charities and wants others to profit too. People respect herz trust her and she is the one they always turn to. She doesn't allow greed in her company either.

Friday comes around and Anya asked Lexa if her and Clarke want to come to the club. She tells her that Octavia will be there with Lincoln and Raven will be coming too.  When Octavia came in from L.A. everyone met her and loved her instantly. She fit right in with all of them.  Froe what everyone can tell, her and Lincoln are pretty serious about each other. She is a freelance photographer so she gets to travel and when she wants time off, she gets it. So she is here in Polis. Lexa calls Clarke and she agrees to going so they all decided it was time to get together again and have a night of fun.

Lexa and Clarke get to the club and find Anya and Raven at a back table. Lincoln and Octavia are sitting across from them. When they reach the table Lincoln goes and gets two chairs for them to sit. "Well, the gangs all here," Anya says. They order drinks and sit and catch up on things. Lexa looks at Clarke and thinks how beautiful she is. Clarke catches her looking and smiles. Anya and Raven see it. Octavia speaks up and asked, "Clarke, have you heard from Bellamy?" "No, not in a while, they must be having a a really good time." Clarke says. "Octavia says, "Well, he called to check in the other ay and Injust assumed he called you too. He said they may be back earlier than expected. There was a change in plans as well as the ob he was foung there and it's been put on hold till a.later time." Clarke looks at her and says, "Oh gosh, I hate to hear that. I know he was looking forward to doing that job and being able to have a vacation too with Echo. He was excited about it being the whole summer. When are they thinking about coming back?" Octavia said, maybe around first part of July, maybe get to spend the 4th with all of us at the beach house. I guess he will be calling you soon too to let you know. I know he wouldn't just drop back in on you without warning." "Oh yeah, I know, it's fine" Clarke is a bit worried that when He comes back that she wont be able to stay at his house anymore so what will she do? Oh well, nothing she can do till she talks to Bellamy. For now, she wants to have fun. She looks at Lexa and asked "Want to dance?" Lexa smiles while getting up and says, "with you, always." Anya and Raven look at each other and Anya says, "Lexa is falling for her, I can see it when she looks at Clarke." Raven says, same with Clarke, I have never seen her look at anyone the way she looks at Lexa. I don't even think they realize it."
Lincoln and Octavia chime in and say how they agree with them and is happy for them. After many drinks later, Clarke is feeling good and so is Lexa. The thing is, they both talk too much while they are more than tipsy. Lexa looks at Clarke while dancing and it send shivers down Clarkes spine. She feels Lexas hand running up and down her back and then rests right at the top of her butt. Clarke looks up into Lexas eyes and Lexa cant help it, she kisses her. She kisses her hard, letting her tongue  beg entrance into Clarkes mouth and Clarke let's her take dominance over the kiss. She moans into Lexas mouth as she kisses her. Lexa pulls her into her and Clarke wraps her arms around Lexas neck. Clarke kisses back with hunger. When they feel things getting too heated they pull back and look at each other. Creating their foreheads together, they are breathing heavy. Lexa says, Clarke, I want you so much!" Clarke smiles and says "I want you too. "  Then, Lexa says, "I want to do this right and treat you like a lady, I want to take you on a proper date." Clarke feels all kinds of things at that moment she can't explain. No one has ever cared to be so caring with her, to respect her this way. She smiles and tells Lexa, "Ok, Ms Woods, I want to have a proper date with you too and then we will see what happens next, but I warn you, I may not be able to refrain myself after that, you drive me wild, Clarke says with a wink. Lexa grins and grabs Clarke and swirls her around and hears Clarke let out a squeal. She loves to watch her like this. Now, she really wants to make the date special, not because there is a chance of sex afterwards but because she really cares for Clarke. She just wants to show her. The sex will be great too but if it doesn't happen, it's ok. She would never push Clarke. Clarke is thinking the same thing and cant wait for their date. They dance a few more dances and decide they have had enough to drink and they all sit down to eat and talk for a while longer. Many laughs later they all head their separate ways.

Lexa and Clarke end up at Lexa's place and Clarke stays the night. They are wrapped in each others arms and listening to each other breathe until they fall asleep. Lexa thinks how good this feels and Clarke thinks of how safe she feels in Lexa's arms. Yeah, they could get used to this.
