*THE INTERVIEW*

Jimmy Fallon: "Welcome to my next guest... rockstar, Jaden Hossler!"

Jaden: "Hey Jimmy, thanks for having me!"

Jimmy: "You're fresh off your latest world tour, how does it feel to be able to get a break for a while. I understand you've been touring for over 10 years."

Jaden: "I'm just ready to get home to my family, man. I have this amazing daughter and beautiful wife and I miss them for sure."

Jimmy: "I totally get that, you're one of the few celebrities we don't see in the tabloids out acting a fool behind their wife's back."

Jaden: *laughs*
"Yeah, she's been the only one for me since pretty much the day I met her."

Jimmy: "Is it true that your #1 hit, Halo was written about her?"

Jaden: "It is. I actually got her to sing it with me on stage once."

Jimmy: *laughing*
"No kidding. Any chance we'll see her on stage again with you? Sometime soon maybe? Word in the green room is that you've been asked to take the tour to Asia next month?"

Jaden: "I guess we'll see."

*END INTERVIEW*

Nessa reached up and turned the TV off and waited to see your reaction before saying anything. Addison moved next to you and put her arm around you being the only one who knew your secret. You jumped up, as your fury spilled over:
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"

Nessa: "Honey, stay calm. He didn't exactly say he was going to do it."

Addison: "Lucas, take Harlow back to play video games."

Lucas: *to Harlow*
"Wanna go hang in my room?"

You: "I don't understand why he wouldn't even tell me that was an option?"

*JOSH'S POV*

As you paced back and forth in front of the TV, ranting to your best friends, Josh noticed a car pull up in the driveway and hurried outside. He watched Jaden get out of an uber and gave his best friend a big hug:
"What, no luggage?"

Jaden: "Nah, my team dropped it off at the house for me. I was just ready to see my girls so I rushed straight here."

Josh: "Speaking of... Fair warning. Your girls are not having the greatest night."

Jaden seemed confused so Josh clarified:
"The interview..."

Jaden: "Shit, that's already aired? I'm so jet-lagged I don't even know what time it is right now."

Josh: *leading him inside*
"Time for you to go talk to your wife, my guy"

*END JOSH'S POV*

Nessa had warned you that Jaden had arrived so you were poised, ready to explode. The moment you looked up and saw his smile beaming down at you, you knew it was pointless. You'd never be able to stay mad. Jaden pulled you into his arms and whispered:|
"How's my girl?"

You wanted to confront him over what he'd said in the interview but all your angst just faded away like your center of gravity stabilized in his arms. He laced his fingers through yours as he turned to Addison and Bryce:
"So the wedding is in like a week. Excited?"

Addison started rambling on about plans, but Bryce could sense you were still upset and winked at you to let you know you could count on him, whatever you needed.

*LUCAS' POV*

He pulled away from Harlow's embrace, nervous about someone walking in on them. 

Harlow: "Relax, Luke. Our parents are gonna be fighting over my Dad's BS for hours."

He still felt uneasy, but he had been a sucker for her beautiful smile a lot longer than he'd ever admitted. As far as she knew, he'd hated her as much as she'd hated him until one night a few months ago when her Mom had left town to go visit her Dad on the road. She'd stayed with Addison and Bryce for the weekend and when they came over to talk wedding planning with his parents, the wine kept flowing until it was 4 am and they all passed out in the family room forgetting that they'd left the teenagers unsupervised upstairs.

She'd been teasing him for being a goodie-goodie and that turned into a game of truth or dare that was intended to prove how much more daring she was than him. She'd asked him about his first kiss and he hesitated before admitting he hadn't kissed anyone. He was newly 15 and he was embarrassed to admit that, but before he could take it back, her lips were pressed against his.

The last few months since that kiss, they'd been sneaking around to see each other and make out as much as they could. He wasn't sure if it was still a game to her, but all he knew was he didn't want to stop so he didn't dare tell anyone about them.

*END LUCAS' POV*

Jaden: *flipping on Lucas' bedroom light*
"I don't think they're in here-"

Bryce and Josh bumped into Jaden, who'd frozen in the doorway at the sight of his baby laying across Lucas' bed with his lips pressed to hers. Josh pushed his way in after realizing what they'd walked into:
"Okay, why don't we all just calm down and go downstairs. We can talk about it down there."

Harlow: *interrupting*
"You're not around nearly enough, Dad to decide who I kiss!"

She stormed out of the bedroom and past you before taking off out the front door.

Lucas: "I'll go find her."

Jaden: "Over my dead body!"

All the stress of the last few days finally caught up with you and tears poured down your face as Jaden seemed to be getting angrier by the moment.

Josh: "Come on, buddy. Let's go get a drink and calm down."
