She takes off in the direction Jaden was headed and you start to cry
Y/N: "Nessa he can't handle this… he feels trapped by trying to love me… what is he going to do if he thinks Im pregnant"
Nessa: "Don't panic… I will find him....”
“... and we will tell him the truth"
Y/N: "You're going to tell him the truth??"
Nessa: "I wanted to tell Josh first but I can't let Jaden keep thinking you're the one who's pregnant because he may never recover from that shock"
You drive around for over an hour and check all of his usual hang out spots
His phone is going straight to voicemail so it’s probably off and he’s not even getting your texts
After leaving the studio you start to give up any hope that you’ll find him
Nessa calls Josh to ask him if he has come back but it doesn’t sound like it
It hits you like a ton of bricks…

Y/N: “Nessa… NESSA!!!”
Nessa motions for you to hold for a second so you grab the phone out of her hand and hang it up

You pull up at the beach he took you to the first night you met
He had told you it was a special place he went when he needed to feel grounded
You jump out of the car yelling his name searching the shore as far as your eyes can see in the dark
Nessa: *catches up to you out of breath* “Hey.. slow down.. One of us just got out of the hospital remember”
Y/N: *yelling* “JAAAADENNNNNNNN…”
“JAAAAADEE….”
You stop mid syllable when you see his shadow sitting in the sand by the edge of the water, the waves peaking just over his bare feet

Before you even process what’s happening you find your body running towards him
Your body has been drawn to him like a magnet since the moment he tapped on your window in that parking lot
Y/N: “JADEN!!! Oh my God!!!”
You drop to your knees and throw your arms around him as tears stream down your face
J: *shocked* “What are you doing here?”
All the frustration of how terrified you spent the last hour that you might never see him again boils over into anger and you shove him over and keep pushing him to the point that he can’t manage to sit up

The relief of seeing him safe finally hits you and you bury your hands and your tears turn to sobs
Y/N: “I don’t know exactly why you ran away, but if it’s because you think you got me pregnant you don’t have to worry about that!”
J: *lets go of you in shock* “Is… is it his?”
Y/N: “I haven’t slept with Bryce”
J: “I don’t understand….”
Nessa: *catching up* “No Jaden.... It’s me… I’m the one who’s pregnant…”
Nessa: “I was scared to tell Josh because he doesn’t want to get married or have kids for like years and always talks about how it would ruin his life and I was scared…”
J: “So you lied?? And gave me a heart attack?”
Nessa: “I’m sorry… I am scared ok?”
Jaden: “Wow…”
Nessa: *looking stunned* “Yeah.. wow… I am having a baby”
Y/N: “Everything is going to be ok… isn’t that what you keep telling me?”
Jaden: *leading us back to Bryce’s car* “Come on, I will drive… we can come back for your car tomorrow”
You ride home in the backseat staring out the window coming to two very intense realizations
First you are so in love with Jaden that it makes you turn into someone you don’t even recognize
Second… and more devastating… the thought of having a life with you is so appalling that he would physically run away from it
