Taking charge of the situation, Kio grabs your arm and pulls you aside
Kio: “Josh left… you need to pull yourself together and get in their room… NOW”
What does he mean Josh left?
You run to Nessa’s side and find her sitting on the bedroom floor holding a note
Nessa: *looking completely numb and zombie-like* “He left…” “He wrote a note and he left…”

Everyone spends the rest of the day taking turns sitting with Nessa trying to get her to talk, or rest, or to at least eat something
On an off shift, you go to Jaden’s room to talk and find his dresser drawers open and most of his clothes packed
You panic that he moved out without a word and you’ll never get a chance again
A few hours later you get Nessa to open up that she laid downstairs watching movies with the girls to give Josh some space
When she woke up on the couch, she came to bed to find him and his overnight bag gone and this note in his place
You decide now is the not the time to tell her Mads and Jaden have left too
Nessa: “What am I going to do? I can’t do this on my own”
Y/N: “First of all you won’t ever be on your own… stuck with me remember? That’s what you said?”
Nessa: “We were really happy weren’t we? I didn’t imagine that?”
Your heart breaks for her. You can’t even begin to imagine what was going through Josh’s mind when he left
You hear commotion downstairs and leave Nessa long enough to look over the balcony and see Josh walkinside
You see him jog up the stairs holding a gift bag and move out of the way to let him in the room alone with Nessa
Nessa: “Josh?”
He sees Nessa laying on the floor in a puddle of heartbreak and feels a guilt he never thought was possible
Josh: “Yes baby… I’m home. I’m so sorry.”
Nessa: “You left…”
Josh: “I know, I’m so sorry I know it was stupid. I panicked”
Nessa: “We don’t do that to each other… isn’t that what we said?? All of this taking off Jaden and Bryce keep doing to avoid their crap… and we promised each other we would NEVER do that”
Josh: “I know I’m so sorry”
Nessa: “You have to know that I never meant this to happen… this wasn’t some kind of trap. I’m just as shocked as you are”
Josh: “About that…”
He hands her the gift bag and she pulls out a onesie that is screen print with the phrase “plot twist”

They both share a cautious laugh as he tells her he isn’t going anywhere
Nessa: “Where did you go?”
Josh: ‘I was just driving. I actually went through two tanks of gas then Jaden found me”
You hear his name from the hallway and can’t help but to hang off every word you can make out
Josh: “He told me he was leaving for a while. The label offered him a small promotional tour"
Nessa: "Weird…"
Josh: "What?"
You try to will her speak louder so you don’t have to get close enough to risk them seeing you eavesdrop
Nessa: “Mads told me the same thing, she left this morning”
