6‐ Pool Time

Bryce: *follows you inside* "So how was shopping? I saw your insta pic... hot"

Y/N: "Thanks! Addison made me post it. She is literally the sweetest"

Bryce: "Yeah Ik, she's actually my ex"

Y/N: *embarrassed* "OMG I'm so sorry is that a sore subject?"

Bryce: "Nah not at all. We are on really good terms. Dope girl"

"So do you want a tour of the house?"

Y/N: "Honestly... I really would like to talk to Jaden. Do you know where he is?"

Bryce: "C'mon Y/N. you seem like a really sweet girl I just don't want to see you get hurt."

You try to push past Bryce but he stops you. The way he takes up the space around him so confidently is really attractive but you can't help that Jaden completely stole your attention. 

Y/N: "Bryce please..."

Bryce: "Ok fine. He's out back in the pool"

You hurry towards the balcony doors as Bryce calls out behind you "He's never going to leave her for good ya know"

You walk out onto a balcony and see Jaden swimming laps in a beautiful pool below. All the doubts Bryce worked up disappeared

J: "Hey gorgeous. Head down and swim with me"

Thank God you'd just invested in a new bikini from the mall. You change and head downstairs to the pool

J: "So did you have fun with all the girl talk time?"

You can't get enough of this boy, he is so hot and his wet hair dripping onto his tan body is too much perfection. You sit on the edge of the pool so Jaden splashes you playfully to convince you to jump in.

Y/N: *laughing* "Don't you dare!!"

Jaden swims over and rests his arms just above your knee and you don't even notice he's dripping water all over you. You run your hands through his hair as you flashback to your fingers in his hair while falling asleep next to him. You snap back to the present as Jaden’s hands slide up around your waist then and suddenly drags you into the water. You scream but you are totally enjoying it. The two of you splash around in the pool for a few hours until you hear someone yell down from the balcony

Kio: "Hey Jaden your label is on the phone for you"

After he heads inside, you get out and wrap yourself in a towel. One more check of your phone and nope your family still hasn't tried to reach you. You sit on the hammock that they have hanging under the ledge trying to figure out what kind of label would be calling Jaden. Is he making music? The drama of the last two days hits you hard and you drift asleep in the warm shade. You feel someone curl up next to you but you’re just too tired to open your eyes. You wake up feeling chilly from the setting sun and see Jaden’s messy hair laying next to you

Y/N: *whispers* "I don't think I will ever get tired of feeling you sleeping next to me"

Jaden *turns his head towards you still a little groggy* "What?"

Yep, that's panic that you're feeling... OMG HE HEARD YOU

Before you can open your mouth to explain he pulls your face to him and kisses you. A kiss so soft and intense that every other kiss for the rest of your life would be compared to it. You pull away as you hear a stampede heading out of the back door. You quickly see all the boys jumping into the pool one after the other splashing water everywhere. Jaden helps you up and you join your new friends in the pool. The girls arrive next to join you all and everyone has an amazing night partying by the pool

Nessa: *pulls you aside* Soooo Josh says when he came outside he saw you guys kissing?!”

Y/N: "uuuhhh.... yeah? Ig that is what happened"

Nessa: "OMG how was it... I bet it was amazing! All that rockstar passion with sweet boy next door vibes. Josh is literally the best kisser, but I bet Jaden was... well... I mean how was it.... spill!"

You tell her everything including the feelings you're catching. It feels really good to have a best friend again. The pool party starts winding down. Nessa is asleep in the hammock with Josh sitting next to her rubbing her back while talking to Quinton and Bryce. Kio and Anthony have already gone inside with their girlfriends Olivia and Avani. Just when you think you might get some alone time with Jaden, Kio yells over the balcony again 

Kio: "Dude your label is calling again... can someone tell them it's like 1am" 

Jaden senses your disappointment and leans over to whisper in your ear

J: "It shouldn't take long... come inside in 15 ok?"

Before he pulls away Jaden slowly places his lips right under your ear to softly kiss your neck

J: *winks* "make it 10mins " 

As soon as Jaden is out of earshot, Bryce swims over and hands you a drink

Y/N: "No thanks, I really want to stay sober tonight"

Bryce: "For what? Jaden can barely stay single for you. Why would you care"

Y/N: "Harsh? I thought Jaden was your friend" 

Bryce: "He is one of my best friends but that's just who I am... I don't sugar coat" 

You start to back away uncomfortably and Bryce notices

Bryce: "Don't worry. I'm not making a move on you. When I do... you'll know it"

Y/N: "Don't you mean IF"

Bryce: "Sweetheart, not only will you know it but you will ask for it"
