Y/N: “Nessa I know you’re mad and I’m so sorry. I know Jaden is probably hurt about this morning but I am hurting too. You’re my best friend and I need you.”
Nessa: *completely softening* “of course babes. I know you’re hurting too. Come here.” Nessa pats the spot next to her and you collapse next to her sobbing.
Y/N: *thru tears* “I’m so sorry. I know everyone is going to hate me now. I messed up so bad.”
Nessa: “Everyone was shocked but no one is going to hate you because you aren’t the first person to end up in the wrong person’s bed. So do you like, LIKE Bryce now? I don’t understand?”
Y/N: “I don’t know. I just know things are easy with him. I don’t have to wonder where I stand. I don’t have to beg him to want me.”
Nessa: “I totally get that, but I wish you would have let things settle with Jaden before you started sleeping with Bryce”
Y/N: “Nessa… I did not sleep with him. We kissed and then he let me sleep in his room because I couldn’t face going back to Jaden’s after everything he’d said.”
Nessa: “Yeah we all heard what he said. I can’t believe he did that honestly, but you have to know he loves you”
Y/N: “I hope so, but honestly I don’t know if his love is enough if he can’t ever give me something real.” *sits up*
You have a low key evening in the room with Nessa. She doesn’t feel well and your heart is broken so it made for a perfect bestie Netflix and junk food marathon. Nessa heads downstairs to say goodbye to Josh because he and Griffin and Jaden are headed out for a boys night.

Bryce: *peaks head in* “Hey can we talk? We never really talked about last night. I didn’t want to push this morning bc of the whole Jaden seeing us together thing but can we talk about it now?”
Y/N: “You don’t have to worry about me being all weird about it and getting in the way of whatever girls you bring around.”
Bryce: “No don’t do that. Don’t let me off the hook. I’m not Jaden. I'm not a little boy afraid of my emotions. I like you… a lot.”
Y/N: “I guess I just figured if I wasn’t ready last night that you would be over it when you sobered up”
Bryce puts his hand on your thigh and moves closer. “I don’t care how slow we take it. I got nothin but time to fall in love with you babygirl. And you’re gonna fall for me too. You just don’t know it yet.”

You don’t know what came over you, but something about the way he talks to you makes you forget all sanity and you grab him by the front collar of his shirt and pull him in for a kiss. Before reason can return, Bryce lifts you up and moves you onto the dresser. He stands in front of you while you wrap your legs around his waist running your fingers along the skin of his back under his hoodie. Before things get too heated you hear Nessa clear her throat at the door to let you know she’s back. After Bryce leaves Nessa doesn’t push so you don’t bring up what she just walked in on.
Since Josh is gone, you fall asleep in her room watching Netflix together. Around 4am her phone rings and she shoots up sounding panicked within seconds of answering
