The countdown begins just before midnight and the lights dim. The video for his new single Angels and Demons begins playing on the projector. You are completely starstruck… you knew that he was insanely talented but this completely blew you away

Jaden pulls away and grabs another drink. You have no idea what changed between last night and today. You knew he wasn’t ready to be official yet, but you’d made so much progress… You decide to give Jaden a little space because he clearly wasn’t happy with you although you didn’t understand why. After all this was HIS night… HIS celebration… HIS moment.
You anticipate having to take care of him when he’s throwing up later so you decide to pace yourself with only a small glass of wine. You hear a loud crash coming from the main room and roars of applause. You walk in to see a guitar being smashed on the ground by a very drunk Jaden while Mads and Nessa dance on a table top with their clothes half falling off. You’ve been to parties before, but clearly rockstar parties are way out of your comfort zone

You nod and turn back around to see Jaden on the table grinding on Mads dancing for the crowd. That sight was all it took for your small glass of wine to be replaced with 4 shots in a row of tequila chased by a full cup of a mystery punch that tastes like pure vodka.
