"Shhhhhh" Bea quieted me as we peeked around the corner of the house. Maddie was facing away from us, squirt gun held at the ready. It was late in the afternoon, and we have been in a squirt gun fight for the past ten minutes. Bea and I had secretly teamed up on her.

"Ok, on three we shoot." Bea whispered as we aimed our guns at Maddie's back.

"One, two, three!"

We pulled the trigger on our guns, sending two jets of cold water streaming at Maddie. She screamed and whirled around, sending water spraying at us. My sweatshirt became soaked, and Bea's tank top did too.

We took off at a run, with Maddie chasing after us.

"This way!" Bea said as she grabbed my wrist. I winced, her grip stinging my cuts. She dragged me over to the pool, and we hid behind the little water fall.

We saw Maddie run around the corner, her squirt gun held up.

"You can't hid forever!" Maddie yelled as her eyes darted around for us.

"Ok let's go!" Bea whispered as she jumped out. I followed behind, and we were soon engaged in an all-out squirt gun fight.

Bea screamed as Maddie sprayed her in the face with freezing water.

"Oh now you're really asking for it De La Garza!" Bea said wildly as she charged toward Maddie. I joined in, soaking Maddie with the icy water.

I squeezed the trigger, and mist came out. I was out of water, and Maddie and Bea were too.

Bea flopped down on the grass, laughing her head off. Maddie fell down next to her, and so did I, all of us laughing like maniacs. It felt good to be laughing for real this time, not faking it.

"That was so much fun!" Maddie exclaimed as she sat up, "whos in for some icecream?"

"ME!" Bea yelled excitedly as she leaped up. I got up slowly, dripping with water.

"Ok, I'll go inside and get towels and ice cream. I'm the least wet since I'm obviously more skilled than you two..." Maddie said with a grin.

"Oh you wish." Bea said jokingly.

"What flavor do you guys want?"

"I'll have cookie dough."

Maddie looked at me expectantly.

"Um I'll have vanilla." I mumbled. This is gonna suck. I have to make it look like I eat so they don't expect something. I'll purge it right after. I hadn't eaten breakfast, and I had a few bited of my lunch, which I had of course purged. Demi and Dianna went off early with some family friends, and Eddie was out doing errands. That made it super easy to purge, because I'm pretty sure Maddie and Bea suspect nothing.

"Ok mom."

Bea laughed and sat down at the patio table.

"We definitely beat Maddie." She said as I sat down across from her.

"Ya that was fun."

Maddie returned with towels, and the icecream. She placed my bowl infront of me, and my anxiety rose just by looking at it. I felt my stomach pinch, and I groaned internally. I was so hungry, but I would only allow myself a few bites. No more than four.

Maddie and Bea dug in, and I picked up my spoon, took a little scoop and swallowed. I felt it slide down my throat, creating a path of cold. My demons rose, and started yelling their usual words at me that got to me every time.

"Now I'm really tired from all that fighting." Bea said as she shoveled down her ice cream.

"Ya me too." Maddie agreed.
