Saved // a Demi and 5H story

Scare

I trained my eyes on the tv and leaned back into the couch. I had just finished lunch, and was now trying to calm my demons by watching tv. Demi was sitting next to me and her arm was around my shoulders. We were watching Pretty Little Liars, and it was getting pretty interesting.

My phone beeped next to me, and I have 200 Twitter notifications. I had made my first post in Twitter, and a lot of people had found out about me. I already had 80k followers!

A sharp pain stabbed into my chest, and my breath stopped in my throat. What the hell was that?

Another sharp pain stabbed my chest, and it was centered around my heart. My stomach twisted a little as a wave of anxiety hit me. I don't know what the hell is happening

Another burst of pain stabbed around my heart, and it spread down to my stomach and up towards my head. What the heck?

An extremely sharp burst of pain hit my heart and head. I winced and clamped my hand over my heart.

Demi's eyes snapped over to me and she looked worried.

"You okay?" Demi said with a little frown.

"Yeah." Another wave of pain came and I breathed sharply through my teeth and clenched my hands into fists.

"Alex what's happening?"

"I'm fine." I lied as another burst of pain hits me, causing me to wince.

"Alex please tell me!"

"Okay it feels like my chest and heart is being stabbed or something." I say as another wave of pain hits me. I groan and my heart begins to feel weird. I can feel it beating, and I notice that it beats really fast, then it slows down and beats as slow as a turtle.

"My heart feels weird." I said as yet again a burst of pain hit me, but this time it was excruciating and tears pricked my eyes as I grabbed at my chest. Ny breath hitches in my throat again and I let out a little scream.

"Baby we should go to the hospital. This is serious!"

I shook my head and gasped as another wave of pain hit me.

"Alex try to breath it's okay." Demi said with worry plastered all over her face.

Another wave of pain hit me, and it was stronger then the last one. I doubled over and let out a groan between my teeth.

"Why is this happening?" I asked quickly before another wave of pain hit.

"Well... when you don't eat for a long time and deprive yourself of nutrition your body starts to shut down. We have to go the the hospital sweetie."

"No way! I'm fine!"

"Alex you're in serious danger! Were going!" Demi said as she picked me up bridal-style as a wave up pain hit again, and I let out a groan. This was some of the worst pain I had ever experienced. Demi ran out the door, headed towards the car and put me down in the passenger seat. She hopped in, and sped down the driveway.

My head began to pound, and my vision became blurry. I rubbed my eyes to try to clear my vision, but it didn't work. I began to shake and I clutched the sides of the seat to steady myself. I looked at the clock, and tried to make out the blurry numbers. It was 2:27.

"Baby please hold on we're almost there." Demi grabbed my hand. I really don't want to go to the hospital. They would see my scars and they would make me eat. I wish my suicide attempts had worked back at the orphanage.

We pulled into the hospital parking lot and Demi parked hastily and pulled me out of the passenger seat. Another wave of pain hit me, and it spread through out my body. I groaned and stumbled. Demi caught me just in time and I leaned on her as we made our way into the hospital lobby. My heart felt like it was on fire, and I collapsed and landed on the floor. I saw a nurse run toward us out of the corner of my eye.

"Is everything okay?" Her voice thick with worry.

Black dots appeared in my blurry vision and I heard Demi's panicked voice telling the nurse what happened, and that's when everything went black.
