"Alex, listen to me. You need to eat, and please baby, please don't start harming yourself, okay? I trust you." Demi stared as she stared into my eyes. I nodded, and she held out her hand, her pinky sticking up.

"Pinky swear." She said with a smile. I smiled back and looped my pinkie into hers. What Demi didn't notice was that my fingers were crossed behind my back.

"I love you." She said as she engulfed me in a hug.

"I love you to." I responded, hugging her back. The rest of the girls came over, and they all hugged Demi goodbye.

"Call me anytime okay?" She said as she gave me one last hug.

"I will."

Demi turned, and blew a kiss before disappearing into the terminal. I watched her go, and then was brought back to reality by the rush of passengers pushing by. We were in the Saint Louis airport, and it was seven in the morning. The girls had a show tonight, and we were gonna drive to the venue from here.

"Alright, let's head out. We gotta be at the venue soon." Ally said as we started towards the exit.

"Hey guys, do you wanna get something for breakfast?" Normani asked as we headed over to a Dunkin Donuts. The girls all responded with a yes, and I followed them towards the store. I of course wasn't going to get anything, now that Demi is gone, I can starve and cut whenever I want. I stood back while the girls ordered their doughnuts, and they grabbed their bags.

"Alex aren't you gonna get something?" Dinah asked as she took a bite of her chocolate glazed doughnut.

"No, I'm not hungry." I responded, which was a lie. My stomach was in pain from hunger, but I wasn't gonna give in. I followed the girls out into the parking lot, and we boarded the bus. The girls had a huge tour bus, with plenty of space and rooms.

"Alright Alex, I made a sleeping area for you back here." Lauren said as she led me into the back of the bus, and into a room that was in the same hallway as the bunks. There was a wall that had a strip of windows, a dresser with cabinets, and a day bed.

"Thanks!" I said as I slung my bags down onto the bed.

"No problem! Come on, were gonna watch a movie." Lauren said as she took my hand, leading me out of the room. We entered a spacious living room with a T.V., where the girls were already sitting on the large couch.

"We're gonna watch The Notebook." Ally said as she dumped popcorn into a huge bowl.

"Yeah, for about the millionth time." Normani said as she playfully shoved Ally.

"Mani, don't sass me. You're the one who always watches A Walk To Remember."

The banter settled down as the movie started, and I was sandwiched between Camila and Lauren.

"Come here I wanna cuddle." Camila said as she looped her arms and legs around me.

"Jesus Mila don't kill her. You're like a snake." Dinah said as she passed the popcorn to me. I passed it to Lauren with my arm that Camila wasn't holding, and she took it.

"You don't want any?" She asked as she scooped a bowl out for herself.

"No, I'm good." I responded.

"You sure?" Lauren asked, concern etched in her features.

"Yeah."

Soon enough, all of the girls were crying, and I was trying to comfort them all. as the credits rolled, they all stood up to get tissues.

"Oh my god, I always cry." Ally said as she dabbed at her eyes.

"Ugh now I'm sad." Lauren said, as she wrapped herself in a blanket.

"You're a sad burrito." Camila said as she wrapped up Lauren tighter. Lauren dropped to the floor, and layed there like a log.

"Lolo what are you doing." Dinah asked.

"I'm not sure DJ." Lauren said as she rolled towards me, trying to knock me over.

"Don't abuse Alex. She's our child." Camila said as she stopped Lauren with her foot.

"What?" I asked confused. The girls burst out laughing, and shook their heads. Lauren sprang up from the floor, shaking her hair out.

"Now my hairs all tangled."

"Well, normally when you roll around on the floor, your appearance changes." Dinah said.

"Someone is a bit sassy today." Normani said as she punched Dinah playfully on the arm.

"Oh, now it's on." Dinah said as she shoved Normani with a smile on her face.

"You're messing with the wrong girl." Normani said as she picked up a pillow and hit Dinah across the face with it.

Dinah stumbled backwards, and scrambled to regain her balance.

"No, Mani, you are messing with the wrong girl." Dinah said as she launched herself forwards, sending her and Normani flying onto the couch.

"Chicas!" Camila yelled, prying Dinah off of Normani, "we can't get hurt! Were on tour!"

"Alright Mila, we'll stop." Dinah said as she stood up.

Normani sprung up from the couch, and aimed a playful slap at Dinah, who skillfully dodged it.

"Not today, Mani." Dinah teased.

The bus jolted, and Normani was pitched forward, landing on her stomach.

"Karma!" Dinah yelled, and the other girls and I all rushed to see if Normani was okay.

"I'm good, just a little winded." Normani responded to our cries of concern as she caught her breath.

"Y'all better stop before someone gets hurt." Ally said with a stern look in her eyes.

"Oh, alright mother." Dinah says as she shoots Ally a playful look. I let out a quiet giggle, and Dinah's eyes find mine.

"I know Alex, I'm a comedian." Dinah says sarcastically as she flips her hair over her shoulder. With that, the girls all broke off into playful banter as the bus swayed around us, and I felt oddly at home with them.
