Mercy had walked back through the front door, preparing herself for the upcoming hassle. The boys were still sitting in the living room bickering and taunting one another. "Why can't we just make a move on them now? Why wait?" Vermin asked, hand on Cowboy's shoulder.

They weren't happy with one of their own, going out alone. It wasn't common, and you seemed to get the bad end of the stick when it came to it.

The boys had discussed the possibility that they could help you; disguising themselves well enough that if something went wrong, they could be there to help.

Mercy walked around the corner, and sat down next to Swan. "Red!" Swan called out towards the hall. He would tell you of their new plan. Ajax and Cochise would lay low, no colours. They would watch your back, to be there if things went South.

"She's not here." Mercy mumbled. Swan looked down at her. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Where is she?" Rembrandt asked worried, seemingly already knowing the answer. He knew you well.

There was a few seconds of silence. "She didn't go already, did she?" Ajax asked Mercy, not liking her silence. "Did she?" He panicked, stepping towards her aggressively.

Mercy stood up defensively, and pointed her finger at Ajax. "Listen here tough guy. I don't control her. It ain't my fault she went off cause you were all driven' her crazy with fear." She accused. Some of the boys looked to their feet, realizing the things they said lead to your anxiety. The others were in an uproar.

"Shit Swan, we gotta go get her." Vermin breathed, not believing what he was hearing. "Yeah man. She needs our help." Cowboy said. "Fuck our help. She's gonna get herself killed without us there." Ajax grumbled. "Come on Cochise, let's go." He said, smacking Cochise's arm. He moved for the door, when Swan stopped him.

"There's nothing we can do now." Swan said. "She's already left. She made her decision. If you go now, there's a chance you won't find her, and its a pointless risk to you both." He said. Ajax was moving on the balls of his feet. "What?" He barked. "So you're just gonna let her go and get wasted?" Ajax snapped at Swan.

"What happened with you hatin' her guts?" Vermin chirped back. He was angry with the whole thing, and was taking it out on Ajax. Ajax glared at him with warning. "Yeah. So much for havin' it out for her. Someone's gone soft." Fox jibbed. That was it.

Ajax turned for Fox and leapt for him, grabbing ahold of his vest and ripping him forward for a punch; but Snow and Cochise stepped in, stopping them.

The boys were separating one another and yelling over one another. "Enough!" Swan yelled out. The boys finally grew quiet. "Fox. Now's not the time for that." He said stone faced. "Ajax. She made her choice, and we have to respect it. She'll be fine. We just have to wait and see what she comes back with." He firmed, nodding to Snow; who released Ajax's arms.

The boys tried to settle down, and some managed to go off to bed. "You should all try to sleep. Tomorrow will be a big day when Red comes back. We may have a war on our hands sooner than we're prepared for." Swan said to the remaining boys.

Mercy was already in bed, and Swan was turning for his bedroom. Ajax and Cochise stood in the corner discussing something quietly between themselves, while Vermin listened to Swan's words, and got up to sleep. "Come on Rembrandt." Vermin said, leaving for his room. "We ain't no use when we're half asleep." He said pained, closing his door behind him. Rembrandt agreed and left for his room too, leaving Cowboy on the couch, along with Ajax, and Cochise.

11A.M rolled around and the sun was glaring through the living room; waking up the three boys. They had passed out while impatiently waiting for you to return last night. "What time is it?" Cowboy groaned from the couch. He leaned up, squinting over at Ajax and Cochise. Cochise rubbed his eyes from his armchair, looking over at Cowboy. "You're the one with the watch, man." He moaned. "Oh, right." Cowboy yawned. Ajax to his right stretched awake.

"It's 11:23." Cowboy breathed, leaning back onto the couch. "Shit man, I'm tired." Cochise complained, too lazy to stand up.

But Ajax sat up quickly, remembering why they were there. "She come back?" He asked the boys, who remembered now too. "Right. Cochise?" Cowboy asked. Cochise shrugged. "Dunno man. Go check her room." He said.

Ajax stood up from his couch, and walked down the hall to your room, knocking on it and calling your name. "Red?" He asked, opening your door; hopeful.

But it was empty. "Ah, fuck." He whined. The other two stood up from their seats, looking down the hall at Ajax. Who was grabbing his hair in panic. "Ah, fuck." He repeated, pacing back and forth.

"Ajax, chill man." Cochise said wearily, never seeing Ajax in this state of panic. Ajax let out a sound of anger and cursed louder, punching a hole through your door. "Ajax. I'm sure she's on her way back now." Cowboy tried to sound reassuring, but he too couldn't mask the concern in his voice for their fellow warrior. You should have been back hours ago.

Ajax's shouting caused the boys to wake up, and see what all the commotion was about. "What's goin' on?" Vermin called from his doorway, eyes half closed; he didn't get much sleep. But he knew the answer when he looked down to see your punched in door.

"She not back?" He snapped out of his tired trance, and Rembrandt, Snow, Cochise, and Fox opened their doors. "Oh no." Rembrandt mumbled to himself.

"Someone should get Swan." Snow said emotionless. He was always good in tough situations. "Yeah, right." Rembrandt said.

Fox walked past the boys and went with Cochise to Swan's door. A moment later they returned with Swan and Mercy following. She looked distressed; she blamed herself.

"Swan. We gotta go get her." Cowboy breathed. Vermin nodded solemnly, and Ajax was quiet. He was past the point of talking. Why were his brothers ignoring him?

He was impatient and was almost on the verge of leaving. "Go? Go where. We ain't packed and got no plan." Fox chirped. "So we just leave her?" Rembrandt shot back.

"Listen." Swan interrupted. The boys got real quiet. "We can't go with just us. It'd be a massacre." He said, looking carefully to each of his brothers. "We need a good plan. We meet with Saracen's for a parlay, see if they can help." He said. Ajax let out a sickened sound, but still kept quiet; he knew they wouldn't listen. Swan ignored him, and continued. "Rembrandt, Fox. I need you two to head to Saracen's turf and see what they have to say." He nodded to them both, as they turned and headed for the door. "Now we wait and see." Swan said.
