"Nash, if you complain one more time, I'm gonna beat your ass." I threatened him.

It was our first full day here, and I thought it would be a fun idea to hike. We were doing the twin falls trail.

It's a one point eight mile trail that has a big swimming hole and a waterfall on the end.

"It's so hot though." He complained. I turned to look at him as I walk.

"There's a swimming hole at the end you can jump into." I continued to walk backwards. "Is there snakes in there?" Kira asked.

I shook my head as I look at her. As I walked backwards, my foot twisted on a log, casing me to trip.

I closed my eyes, waiting for impact. But after a few seconds, nothing happened.

I opened my eyes to see a blonde boy holding me up. "I don't think walking backwards on a hike is your strong suite." He teased.

He was holding me up as I looked into his eyes. "I think that's a smart idea." He puts me on my feet while I look at him.

He looked oddly familiar. When I put my weight on my foot, I wince in pain.

"You okay?" Kira asked as I hobbled on one foot. "I hurt my foot." I told her.

I could feel it start to swell and throb. "Dumbass." Nash laughed at me.

I flipped him off as the blonde stood there and watched.

"Owen! What's the hold up?" His friend yelled. There were two of them.

One had longer brown hair and he had very large muscles.

The other had darker hair which was significantly shorter. He had some muscles too but they were smaller.

"Sorry, I was making sure this girl is okay." He then looks over at me.

"Can you walk?" He asked. I took a step but the pain was too much.

The blonde took his backpack off and handed it to one of the brunettes.

"Get on my back, I don't mind." I looked at my friends as they nodded. "Thank you. I'm Saylor by the way." I introduced myself.

"I'm Owen and these are my two best friends, Charlie and Jeremy." Charlie was the one with the longer hair.

"My two friends are Kira and Nash." We all introduce each other as I get on his back.

We start walking and I look at Owen. "Were you at the pool yesterday or do you have a twin that looks just like you?" I ask making conversation.

"I thought you looked familiar. You were staring at me from the balcony." He laughed as I got slightly embarrassed.

"I wasn't staring. I was observing." I joke. He chuckled as he shook his head.

Everyone else was a little ways ahead of us but not too far.

"So, what do you guys do?" Charlie asked curiously. "I do covers on tik tok and on YouTube." Kira smiled proudly.

"I'm taking some acting courses since I wanna become an actor." The three boys we met looked in between each other.

That's when Jeremy turned to look at me. "What about you?" He asked as I smiled.

"I'm in a band." That's when they all smile weirdly. "Are you for real?" Jeremy asked perking up.

"Yeah, I'm the drummer." Charlie smiles over towards Owen. "Owen here plays drums too." I look at him in shock.

He doesn't look like the type to play. "Really?" I ask shocked. "Yeah. I'm not the best but I enjoy it." He shrugged.
