Owen was taking me out on a date today. I know it's to make up for the whole Dani situation but he won't say.

I've been moved in for a month and it's already September. You can tell the air is getting cooler here.

Owen wants to take me to an indoor ice skating rink so I was looking for the appropriate attire.

I decided to wear fishnets, ripped skinny jeans that are black, a black sweatshirt, and a light pink jacket.

I straightened my black hair and then put light make up on.

I was meeting him at his apartment so once I got done getting ready, I grabbed my keys and left.

It took me about thirty minutes to drive to his apartment.

I walk in to see him scrolling on his phone. He had on his cream sweatshirt and Adidas joggers.

"Well don't you look cute." He complimented. I smile as I sit next to him.

"Thank you, baby." I lean over and kiss his cheek. His face reddened as I leaned away.

He looked really good today. "Come on, you're driving." I look at him with my jaw dropped.

"You planned the date!" I joke with him. "Yeah, but I don't feel like driving." He admitted while laughing.

I groan as I get up with him. We walk down to my car so I can drive. "I don't know where this place is so put it in my phone." He grabs it.

I back out of the lot and start driving. He puts it in the phone and sits it down.

It took me about forty minutes to get there and we go inside.

He pays for everything causing me to thank him. I grabbed the ice skates, going towards the bench.

I tie up my laces as Owen does the same. Once done, I go down to the rink.

I start ice skating which made me feel good. I haven't been ice skating in forever.

Harley and I use to go while we were in high school all the time. I made a lap and went back to Owen.

"What's up, buttercup?" I ask skating to him. "I liked watching you skate out there." He admitted.

He gets in the rink as we skated next to each other. I looked at him in awe. "You did?" I question him.

He looks at me softly. "Yeah. You looked at peace." I blushed at his words.

"You know, I like watching you drum as well." He admits. I look at him surprisingly.

"Really?" I ask shocked. He nodded his head. "I can tell how much you enjoy it. It's like I can see your happiness glowing." I do love drumming.

It's been my anchor for so long. When I didn't have anyone else, I had drumming.

It's crazy though. Because now, I have Owen as my anchor. He keeps me held down and sane.

I wouldn't want anyone else as my anchor either. "I appreciate you so much." I tell him honestly.

He smiled as we continued to skate. The date was honestly really fun.

We joked around the whole time. When we got done ice skating, we decided to drive to in and out.

"It's not the most romantic, but I think it's good." Owen told me.

"I don't care if it's romantic or not. I'm just happy to be with you." I get on my tippy toes and kiss his cheek.

We ordered our food and waited for it. "You wanna eat outside?" He asked as I nodded.
