thirty-four

Today was going to be a good day. It's been a long time since just me, Kira, Nash, Charlie, Jeremy, and Owen have hung out.

So we were going to eat and then go to a haunted house.

I think it was going to be fun. I've always loved haunted houses and scary shit like that.

Around six thirty, I started getting ready. I put on a pair of black leggings with a very large hoodie.

I throw on an even larger flannel to go along with it. I put my hair in a messy bun and look at myself. I think I look good.

As I waited for them to show up, I get a call from Nash. "Hey, you here?" I ask while putting it on speaker.

Him and Kira were riding together while Owen, Jeremy, and Charlie are gonna ride together.

"Yeah, come outside bitch." I told him to fuck off and get up. I put my high top vans and run down the stairs.

I go outside to see them parked in my driveway. I get in the back as they smile.

Nash was driving while Kira sat in the passengers seat. "Hey, Saylor." He spoke up. He drove out of our driveway.

"Hey, Nash." I repeated. "I have to film something for my acting class and I need your pool table. Can I film it tonight?" He asked.

I wouldn't see why not. "Of course. We can do it after the haunted house." I could see him smile.

We drive to In and Out because that's where we're meeting the boys. It looks like we beat them there.

We order our food, and I order Owen's meal since I know it. We grab a large table for the six of us as we wait.

"Who do you think is gonna be more scared?" Nash asked. "Kira." I point over towards her. She flips me off as we laugh.

"What is going on?" Jeremy asked laughing. We all stood up to hug them. We all ate and caught up with each other.

Once we get done, we headed towards the haunted attraction. It's gonna open up soon and we wanna get there early.

We've heard how crazy the lines are. When we get there, there was already a decent amount.

They let us in early so we paid for our tickets. "Who's going first?" Nash asks as we wait in line.

"Jeremy." We all say in unison. "What, why me?" He asked defeated.

"Because you're our father and you need to protect your children." Owen told him.

Out of no where, one of the roamers comes sliding towards us.

I scream as I jump into Owens arms. He laughs as he wraps his arms around me.

The whole time we went through it, Kira was hiding into Charlie while I was holding onto Owen.

Nash and Jeremy were making jokes and weren't even phased the whole time we walked through.

At the end, they had a clown chase us with a fake chainsaw. I bolted it out there.

Even though I was super scared the whole time, it was super fun.

We decided to make our separate ways. Jeremy was gonna go back to Carolynn.

Kira and Charlie were gonna have a movie night. And Owen and Nash were gonna come over.

Owen and Kira switched cars so Owen was now riding with us.

"Do you care if Winston comes too?" I shook my head no. I like Winston.

We get to my house to see no one was home. I guess they were all busy.
