Owen and I walk into his apartment burnt. We spent the day on the beach together. We were gonna get ready and go to the pier together.

I haven't been and he wanted to show me. I look at Owen to see his cheeks and nose are red.

"You need to put some aloe on your face." I tell him as he scrunches his nose. "I'll be good." He shakes his head.

I go into his room to look for some clothes. I put on black skinny jeans and a band t-shirt.

I tuck my shirt into my pants while I finish getting ready. I wasn't too burnt but I'm definitely red.

We get everything together and get in Owen's Tesla. "Can I drive your car one day?" I ask as he turns to me.

He had on a pair of cotton shorts and a muscle tee. "Have you ever wrecked your car?" I dropped my jaw as I looked at him.

"I'm a perfect driver." I tell him as he gives me a look like he didn't believe me. "I've been in the car with you." I just roll my eyes.

"You're an ass." He sweetly smiles towards me. As we drive, I couldn't help but think.

I'm so happy that I met him. Just to think, we met two months ago in May. And I'm in Los Angeles with him.

In these two months, we've gotten super close, and even kissed. We haven't put a label on anything yet but we know we like each other.

And we did go on a date. I just can't wait to move out here so I can be with Owen everyday.

The distance has been hard but we've been making it work. "You okay, beautiful?" Owen asked.

He brought his hand to me and laced our fingers. I smiled while looking at him. "I'm perfect. I'm just thinking about us."

He chuckles while he continued to drive. "Really, what about us?" He asked.

We were stuck in traffic so we had some time to talk. "Everything." I then started wondering.

"When did you realize you liked me?" It was middle school but I wanted to know. He smiled to himself while thinking.

He wet his lips before speaking. "Since we all binged watched Julie and the Phantoms together. When did you realize?" He asked.

I bit my lip while thinking. "When you were sick. I was so worried about you." I could feel myself blush as we talked to each other.

We were stopped in traffic so he looks over at me. "You're so cute when you blush." He complimented.

I looked away knowing I could feel myself get hotter. "Saylor." He brought his finger to my chin and turned my head to look at him.

He was looking at me with soft eyes. "You have nothing be embarrassed about." My heart was pounding in my chest.

He started to lean in as I did the same. Our lips connected and they started moving in sync.

He cupped my face as he deepened the kiss. I felt his tongue on my bottom lip, looking for an entrance.

I parted my lips so it could enter. A groan escaped his mouth as he deepened the kiss even more.

A car horn from behind us made us pull away. The light had turned green so we started moving.

I looked over to see Owen adjusting himself in the seat. "You okay over there?" I smirk.

He clears his throat as he drives. "Yeah. Perfect." He told me. I smile knowing the affect I have on him.
