twenty-three

I woke the next morning super sore from all the running. Last night was probably one of the craziest nights of my life.

The bed was empty when I had woken up. I heard talking so I assume the rest are up.

Charlie and Kira stayed at Owens with us last night since we didn't get home till late.

I get up to see who was up. It was only Kira and Charlie. I didn't see Owen anywhere.

"Where's Owen?" I ask grabbing their attention. "He just left to go into a meeting with Kenny. I think he'll be there all day." Charlie explained.

I frown while thinking I just missed him. "I was thinking about going apartment hunting today. You wanna come?" Kira asked.

I think it'll be good cause then I'll be able to house hunt.

I agree so I go and find some clothes. I put on a black, long sleeved crop top that had a little alien head above my left breast.

I had on jean shorts with fishnet stalkings under it. I put a chocker on which finished the outfit. 

Kira and Charlie were already dressed so when I walk out, we head out.

We were gonna apartment hunt first, eat, and then house hunt.

Charlie drove, Kira sat up front, and I sat in the back. I don't mind that I'm third wheeling.

It honestly doesn't feel like third wheeling since we're all really good friends. We drive to an apartment complex that looked fancy.

We all pile out of the car and walk into the lobby area. We were supposed to meeting the property manager.

"Hello. You must be Kira." She smiled towards us. Kira and her shook hands as they smiled.

"Yes. This is my best friend Saylor and my boyfriend Charlie." I've never heard Kira mention Charlie as her boyfriend.

I look to see he was surprised too. She looked at us, smiled, and shook our hands. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Mary."

She started explaining the building as we get into the elevator. She takes us to the fourth floor where the apartments are a little bigger.

She takes us to one which is huge. When you walk in, there was a kitchen to the right. There was a spiral staircase that led up to a loft.

The living room was a decent sized, not too big and not too small. When we walk past the kitchen, it goes to the master bedroom.

It had a bathroom and a decent sized closet. We went to the other side of the apartment that has a space for a washer and dryer.

There was another room that had a smaller closet. Just outside the room is a bathroom. It took us about twenty minutes to look through everything.

"Is it okay if I FaceTime the guy that I'm moving in with? He wasn't able to make it." Mary nodded her head as Kira brought her phone out.

"If you want to, you two can check out the balcony." We agreed so Charlie and I went out to look at it.

It was a pretty view honestly. "I think she's going to get it." I smile to Charlie. He looks over at me and smile.

"It has her and Nash's name all over it." He admitted. We waited for her in the balcony.

We heard the door open and close causing us to turn around. "What happened?" Charlie asked.

"I signed the lease and Nash signed it virtually so we get to move in!" We all squeal in excitement.
