Chapter thirty

Next day

Hiraeth pov

I wake up on Xerxes' chest as he caressed my hair. He always wakes up before me, I look at him and whisper
"Hey"
He smiles and kisses me while saying
"Hey baby"
I smile and get up before saying
"We should get ready, we need to learn about that spaceship"
He nods and says
"Sure let's get ready"
I nod and hold his hand basically dragging him from the bed while the sheet slips from his body revealing himself completely. We walk to the bathroom and take towels before hoping in the shower. I take the soap as I rub some of it on his chest while looking at his eyes while he looks into mine. He leans in and plants me a strong kiss on my lips as he wraps his arms around me. He grabs my butt cheeks and plays with them but I say while giggling
"We can't! We have to hurry and go downstairs."
He sighs and nods in agreement before we finish bathing. We get out of the shower and get dressed before going downstairs and finding that everyone is already ready including Chaoli who is sitting down as well. I look at them and say
"Good morning. Sorry we took so long"
They smile as Miza says
"It's ok. Really"
I smile as I sit next to the girls and Xerxes sits with the guys. Chaoli says
"Ok since we are all ready, let's eat breakfast quickly and then go underground to the spaceship."
We nod and eat quietly before getting up and heading towards the operation room. We look around to see different gadgets all around the room, I look to my left to see a sort of metal hand and try to touch the glass.
"Don't touch that!"
I turn around to see Chaoli looking at me with her hand outstretched. I take my hand away from the glass and she says softly
"That glass holds a magnetic field that is keeping the magnetic hand intact. If you remove it, even for one second, It may cause a lot of damage"
I nod and whisper high enough for her to hear me
"Ok sorry"
She smiles and Xerxes holds me close and gives me a kiss on the forehead. I smile and she grins while saying
"Alright lovebirds, hover over here."
We all hover over to her. She looks at me and says
"This is what you guys came for"
he presses the number '126' on some sort of type pad which is attached to the floor. The tiles of the floor open up and reveal that spaceship we all came for
I look at her and say
"Can we touch this one?"
She laughs and says
"Yes, Yes you can!"
I smile and touch the spaceship. Xerxes says
"How do we turn it on?"
Chaoli looks at him and says
"To be honest, i have no idea. I was kind of hopping David could help me with that."
David looks at the spaceship and says
"I don"t think that there is a battery for this spaceship available on this earth, not that it matters"
Chaoli says
"How?"
Namia says
"Xerxes has the power to control energy, he is probably all we need to make this spaceship work"
David smiles at her and says
"Bingo"
I look at Chaoli  and see her expression change to one of anger. She says to David
"Well that's great. Saves us time."
She looks at Xerxes and says
"I would love to do some experiments on you guys, just to know how strong you guys are"
Xerxes nods and she says
"Great! Let's go to the experimental room"
She turns around and we follow her to the experiment room. We enter the room to find two young men in lab coats working in some sort of chemical reactions. They stop and turn to look at us once we enter the room. Chaolin says
"Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce to you Jake and Skyner. My apprentices"
They smile at us and she continues
"I want you guys to prepare the botical, we will be doing research on...."
She points to us in a gracefully manner
"Xerxes and Hiraeth and their powers"
Jake gasps and says
"Wait! You guys are the ones on Tv, your wanted everywhere"
Chaolin nods and says
"Yes Jake, that is correct. But I don't think I need to tell you that their being here must be kept too secret"
Jake nods and says
"Yea sure, I get it"
She smiles and says
"Well then, let's get started"

Later on

Naomi pov

I'm laying on the wall with my arms crossed as I watch Chaolin's apprentices do experiments and research on Hiraeth. I'm keeping an eye on them because the last thing I want is for Hiraeth to get hurt. I look over at all Chaolin who is throwing sultry look at David. I don't know why but I just feel my blood boil. She looks pathetic and she doesn't even know it. I look over at David to see him looking at her in the most uncomfortable matter. I voice in on their conversation and Chaolin says
"I've been thinking, how about we go out to get some lunch, maybe even catch up?"
David smiles nervously and says
"Um you know Chao, your a great woman and any man would be lucky to have you but I just don't feel ready to be in a relationship. With everything going on...it's just too much"
Her eyes darken and her veins start popping out of her head. She starts getting louder
"You don't seem to feel that way about the assassin girl though. Is it a relationship that scares you or the idea of being with me?"
David looks at her and says in a shocker and says
"I never knew you felt...."
"Your not stupid, you must have known!"
Chao rudely interrupts. She glared at me and says
"Fine, have it your way"
She storms out of the room leaving us here with her two now confused scientists.

Ooooooh guys, there is some love drama, what do you guys think is going to happen?!
