Chapter 14

Shehnaaz hugged ritaji tightly with teary eyes. She was finding a motherly comfort in her. Ritaji was rubbing her head softly providing her some warmth. After coming out from the hug ritaji wiped her tears softly and lightly smiled at her. 

" Beta ab chup ho jao bahut ro li tum chalo hum sab beth kar khaana khate hai vaisa bhi tumne dophair sa kuch nahi khaya" said ritaji affetionately.

Shehnaaz nodded and took her both hands in hand and said "Thank you aunty aapne mujhe sambhale aise vakt mane"

"Arre beta isme thank you bolne ki kya zarurat hai mane bhi to teri maa jaisa hoon ye to mera farz hai" said ritaji smilingly.

Sidharth who was being a silent spectator from outside was loving the way her mother was bonding with Shehnaaz. He was loving how adorable both were looking. He smiled a little seeing them. 

The trio proceeded towards the dining table. Sidharth and shehnaaz both were lost in their thoughts and were not eating dinner properly. It was like their appetite has died. Ritaji decided to broke the silence and said "Beta maine ye socha ki ab tum humare saath rahogi humesha ke liye" said ritaji 

"Aunty mane aapke saath kaise reh sakti hoon, mujhe nhi jaana aapke saath, ye mera ghar hai mane issa aise kaise chordh kar jaa sakti hoon, iss ghar mane meri, mumma or papa ki yaade hai jo mujhe sukoon deti hai, mane nahi jaungi aapke saath" said Shehnaaz stubbornly and stood up in the middle of eating and left.

Ritaji become worried seeing her like this. She looked towards Sidharth making a pleading face to make her understand this. Sidharth knowing what her mother wants to convey nodded his head towards her and said " Maa mane ussa samjhata hoon aap tension mat lo" saying this he also stood up and took an empty plate and filled it food as shehnaaz didn't have any food properly.

Shehnaaz was sitting on her bed facing towards the wall and her back was towards the door. She was hugging puchkoo and complaining him how her parents left her alone to survive and how rita aunty wants to take her with them leaving her home. 

Sidharth was standing behind her and was listening to her innocent complains that she was making with that teddy bear. He thought how can someone be so pure, cute and innocent in this world. He was having sudden urge to protect her from all the demons of this cruel world. He does not want that this world should taint her innocence. For that he can do anything. 

He slowly went towards her and put his one hand on her shoulder. She instantly froze and from the tingles that she was experiencing in her stomach she knows who it is. His very single touch can create a havoc inside her body. She does not know why she experience this but she loves these things.

She slowly turned towards him and said nervously "A-ap"

"Ha mane to tum kissi aur ka wait kar rahi thi kya, agar kar rahi thi to mane chala jaata hoon" said Sidharth mischievously and acted to go.

Shehnaaz instantly grabbed his hand to make him stop and said " Nahi ma-mane kissi ka wa-wait nahi kar rahi thi, aap kahiye aapko kuch kaam hai kya". 

Sidharth looked at her face and he just want to squeeze it as she was looking sooo adorable. Her night suit was not helping him in any case to stop his emotions. He cleared his thought and said " Achaa agar tum aisa kehti ho to maan lete hai" saying this he also sat beside her.

For a couple of seconds they both didn't spoke anything and he was looking at her room very keenly. He has come to her room before also but he didn't get the chance to admire her room. But now when he got the opportunity he was memorizing each and every corner of her room by heart. The room was just reflecting her personality.
