Innocence Part 2

Aurora POV

When I got home, I changed Brianna for bed before laying her down to sleep. I unbutton my coat and saw the cross necklace that Angel had given me and took it into my hand. It sparkled in the light of my room. It swung as I let it go. I changed into my PJs real quick before I look down at the ring that Angel given me the night before. I pulled it off and looked at it. I burst into tears as I went over to my bed and laid on it, clutching the ring and crying uncontrollably. All I could feel and hear was that I had lost one of my soulmates as I fell asleep and dreamed.

Dream

Angel and I are in bed together as we caressed each other. I ran my hand down his back and over his tattoo. We both had our rings on. Angel kissed me gently on the neck. I held him with my ringed hand as I kissed his fingers. We moved under the sheets as he kissed me my lips tenderly.

"I love you," Angel told me.

I opened my eyes for an instant to see his game face.

The scene changed to a funeral in bright daylight. Angel walked up to the grave. I noticed my wardrobe change as I looked down at myself before looking over at him. Angel looked up at me, his face was bathed in sunlight.

"You have to know what to see," Angel told me.

I looked at him, not really understanding what he meant. I looked back down at the grave. I looked over at the other people attending the funeral.

"Ms. Calendar?" I muttered as I saw Ms. Calendar lifting a veil over her face.

Dream

I woke to a start. It was morning and it was a new day. I realized that the dream meant something. Ms. Calendar knew more than what she was telling us. I had to get to school, but I had to get Brianna ready and myself ready for the day. I got up and headed to Brianna's nursery.

"Oh good morning, my love. It's a new day, we have to question a naughty teacher who knows more than she's telling our family," I said to Brianna as I picked her up and into my arms before placing her onto the changing table.

I changed her diaper and placed her into a clean onesie before placing her in her swing. So I could get ready for the day. I grabbed my undergarments before changing into them. I grabbed my army jeans and black t-shirt and got dressed in them before putting on my black boots that went with it. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail before slipping on my grey jacket. I placed on my Claddagh ring, Celtic necklace and arrow bracelet. I grabbed everything I need for Brianna's diaper bag before placing it into it. I grabbed my school bag and Brianna's diaper bag before picking Brianna up and out of her swing. We headed downstairs to the kitchen for her bottle.

"Let's get you fed," I said as I saw a ready bottle with a note.

Aurora, Bottle all ready. See you at school. Jenna

I picked up the bottle and fed Brianna before burping her. I got her into her car seat before heading out the door with her and our bags. I walked out to see Cole there.

"I thought I would drive you and Brianna to school. I got Brianna's stroller in my car," Cole said as he took the car seat and got it situated in his backseat before taking our bags and placing them next to her.
