Aurora POV

It's been four days since we killed the Kindestod demon. The gang and I were at the Bronze. There was a cover band playing as Cordelia and Xander were dancing. Kate, Cole and Leo were by the bar getting drinks as Kyra and Andy were sitting at a table behind Buffy and me. Buffy and I stared down as Willow looked around for us. We were leaning against the railing as we listened to the band. I felt someone approaching us.

"Hey," We heard someone say.

We turned in surprise to see two boys standing there.

"I'm Ben, and this is Kaden," The boy Ben introduced himself and his friend. "We had Algebra II together last year."

"Sorry, I pretty much repress anything math-related," Buffy said.

"I only mostly pay attention to my work," I returned.

"Ms. Jackson? Second period?" Kaden responded. "You both sat in the seats, three over and one behind."

"Oh! Yeah, I remember now. It's the one with desks and the chalkboard, pencils and stuff, right?" Buffy voiced.

"That's the one," Ben chuckled.

"Like a steel trap," I responded as I pointed my head.

"So, we were wondering, you know the dance tomorrow night?" Kaden questioned. "Are you going?"

"You mean the Sadie Hawkins thing?" I questioned. "The deal where the girls ask the boys?"

I already had asked Cole to be my date. Elijah was going to be one of the chaperones. And Buffy wasn't sure she wanted to go.

"Yeah," Ben said. "And we thought maybe, you know if you're free, might ask us."

I noticed Cole behind them. He was glaring at the boy's back.

"Oh, gosh..." Buffy exhaled. "We..."

"Oh, oh, hey, no, don't, don't worry about it..." Kaden said as he held up his hand.

"No, no, you both seem like really great guys, it's..." Buffy replied.

"...me. We're not seeing anybody. Ever again, actually," I finished her sentence.

"Oh. That's," Ben said. "That's too bad."

"Okay, well, we better..." Kaden said as he and his friend left us alone.

"Sorry," Buffy and I muttered as Cole came over to us.

"You did the right thing," Kate told us.

"They wouldn't have survived if Angelus got a hold of him," Kyra voiced.

We nodded before heading for the stairs and heading down to the first floor.

When we made it to the bottom, we looked around and noticed Willow coming towards us.

"Hey!" Willow said as she met up with us. "You're bailing?"

"Yeah, we're going stop by the library and see if Giles wants us to parol," Buffy replied. "And then head home."

"You've been doing that a lot," Willow responded. "Patroling, taking care of your daughter and sacking. In fact, you've kind of been All-Work-And-No-Play Aurora and Buffy."
