Buffy The Vampire Slayer 2x16 

The Three B's Part 1

Aurora POV

The girls, Xander and I were patrolling the cemetery. We paused for a moment for Xander to show us what he bought for Cordelia.

"So, what do you think?" Xander asked.

"It's nice," I answered as he showed us a pretty necklace.

"But do you think Cordelia will like it?" Xander questioned.

"I don't know," Buffy responded as the rest of us shrugged.

Kate pulled it towards us as we examined the locket.

"Does she know what of these is?" Kyra questioned.

Xander yanked it out of Kate's hand placed it back into his jacket pocket.

"Okay, big yuks," Xander chuckled. "When are you guys gonna stop making fun of me for dating Cordelia?"

"We're sorry. But never," Kate responded as Xander nodded, smiled and looked down. "We just think you could find somebody more...better."

"Uh, parallel universe, maybe," Xander said as he looked back up. "Here, the only people I'm interested in is, um... unavailable. Besides, Cordy and I are really getting along. We're not fighting as much, and yesterday we just sat together, not even speaking. You know, just, uh, enjoying the comfortable silence," He grinned and laughed before losing the grin and exhaling. "Man, that was dull."

"I'm glad you that you guys are getting along. Almost really," Buffy replied with a smile.

"Don't Stress over the gift," Kate reassured him.

"Well, this is a new territory for me," Xander voiced. "I mean, my gifts are usually met with heartfelt restraining orders."

"She'll love it," Kyra responded.

"I wish dating was like slaying," Xander said as he stepped away from us. "You know, simple, direct, stake to the heart, no fuss, no muss."

Xander turned towards us as a couple of vampires rose from the fresh graves. Xander jerked backwards as the newly risen demons came at him, but tripped and fell onto his butt. We hopped off the gravestones and grabbed the vampires from behind as they tried to grab Xander. We threw the vampires high and away from him. The vampires rolled to their feet before coming at us. I lept at him, doing a double kick to his chest, which staggered him before throwing a fireball at him. He fell to ash. I turned to see Kate and Kyra killing their vampires with their powers. Buffy was still fighting her vampire as I helped Xander to his feet.

"Sorry, to say, Xand," I voiced. "Slaying is a tad more perilous than dating."

"Well, you're not obviously not dating Cordelia," Xander responded as we head out of the cemetery.

Twenty minutes later, we walked Xander home before heading home ourselves. I climbed into my window to see Cole reading Cat in the Hat to Brianna.

"Look, who's home, Brianna," Cole said as he looked up.

"Mama's home," I replied as I took off my jacket and put it into my closet.

"Brianna has been fed, changed and dressed," Cole told me. "And is ready for bed."

"Thank you," I whispered before kissing him.
