Spring Break/Masquerade Part 2

Aurora POV

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was a free day. Giles spent many hours in the library. The rest of us spent some hours near the pool or in the pool. I spent the day either in the pool, drawing/painting for my orders or sending my designs to the bakery that pays me to do the creative work for their cakes or other goodies. Anyway, today is technically day 4 of our stay here, but it's day 3 out of the house. Today, we have breakfast, going to the venue, Lunch, the boys have their suit appointments, the dinner and finally bed. Well, I have to go now. We can hope this day can go quicker than normally. A ~

I closed my journal and got up as I heard Brianna's cooing as I knew she was awake. I walked into the nursery and picked her up.

"There's a smile on your face. Are you happy to see Mommy?" I said as I set her down on the changing table and changed her diaper, and placed her into a clean onesie.

Brianna started crying as I moved her off of the changing table. I rocked her as I placed her back into the crib. So I could make up her diaper bag for the day. I grabbed diapers, wipes, cream, diaper pad and finally, her extra clothes. The bottles were downstairs. I picked her up and grabbed the diaper bag before heading out of the nursery for breakfast.

When we got downstairs, Kyra was making breakfast with Kate as Giles was reading a book near Ms. Calendar and Jenna. Xander was talking with Leo, Andy, Jeremy and Cole. Angel was reading a book as well as he waited for breakfast.

"Where's Cordelia, Buffy, and Willow?" I questioned as everyone looked up at us.

"Right here. Morning everyone," Willow said as she, Buffy, and Cordelia came walking in behind me.

Cole came over to me with a warm bottle of formula in hand. He took the diaper bag from me as he handed me the bottle. I began feeding Brianna the bottle of formula.

"So, are you ready for your birthday's coming up?" Jenna asked.

"Yeah, I am," Buffy said.

"Me too," I responded.

"We are with friends and our family," Kate said.

"Family don't end in blood," Kyra voiced.

"Breakfast is done," Kate said as she looked up from the pans.

"What are we having for breakfast today?" Leo asked.

"Pumpkin French Toast with bacon," Kyra answered as she placed the plater of french toast down.

"That sounds yummy," Andy responded.

I finished feeding Brianna as Cole took her from me to burp her and place her into her play gym seater. We plated our food and got our drinks.

"So boys, the tailor will be here for your suit appointments after lunch," Jenna said.

"That's fine," Angel said as he closed his book and plated his food and joined us in eating.

I took a sip of my apple juice.

"This morning, we are going to the venue. Then, coming home for food and free time for girls. Finally, dinner after the boy's tux appointment," Kate brought up.

We continued to eat and talk about the ball that's on Friday. Before long, we were done and were out the door to the cars.
