Third Person

It was a sunny morning at Sunnydale High as Xander watched Cordelia and her friends sitting at a table. He got up the courage and walked over to them. He rested one hand on the table as leaned over it next to Cordelia as he gave them a smile.

"What?" Cordelia asked as she looked up at him.

"Morning, ladies," Xander responded as he looked at the ladies before turning to Cordelia. "Some kind of weather we've been having, huh?"

"What do you want? You can't be sniffing around for more jewelry to melt," Cordelia returned. "Because all you ever gave me was that Smallmart-looking thing." She looked down at her notebook.

"Is this love?" Xander chuckled. "'Cause maybe on you it doesn't look that different." He leaned into Cordelia.

"What are you doing?" Cordelia questioned as she pushed him away. "Are you going like stalker-boy one me now?"

"Sorry," Xander said in confusion. "My mistake."

"Yeah, I should say so," Cordelia replied.

Xander got up and walked away.

"What is his deal?" He heard Cordelia say as he went to find the others.

In the library...

Aurora POV

As soon as morning hit, we headed straight to the library after we got dressed. Giles was sitting on top of the table as he flipped through a book. Elijah was feeding Brianna her cereal before feeding her bottle.

"Look, here another. Here," Giles said. "Um, 'Hearts day.' Yes, uh... 'Angel nails a puppy to the...'"

"Skip it," I interrupted.

"Uh, but it..." Giles tried to say.

"We don't wanna know," Buffy said.

"We don't have a puppy. We have a wolf pup, but she spends most of her time here or in a room with crystals that protect the room." Kyra said. "Skip it."

"Right you are," Giles replied as he closed the book.

"We'll grab another batch," Jenna said as she and Finn walked into the office.

"I have a plan; we use me as bait," Xander said as he walked into the library.

"You mean make Angel come after you?" Kate questioned.

"No, I mean chop me into little pieces and stick me on hooks for fish to nibble at," Xander responded. "'Cause, it would be more than my life."

"Yeah," Rebekah said as she got up. "We heard about you and Cordy. That's her loss." She leaned on the table.

"Yeah, not really the popular theory," Xander replied.

"You know what we'd like? Why don't you, the girls, and I do something together tonight? Just us and the girls," I voiced as I looked up at him.

"Really?" Xander questioned as double took.

"Yeah, we can all comfort each other," Kyra stated.

"Well, would lap dancing into the scenario at all?" Xander asked. "'Cause I find that very comforting." He grinned.

Rebekah stood and stared in his eyes and took a step closer.
