RINDOU stopped from his tracks at the sudden question yet remained his cool like always. he never will let some irrelevant question get to his head as he always knew what he was doing.

"why are you so curious brother, jealous?" he smirked at his brother as ran only replied with a sigh, frustrated that his younger was always hard to get yet he was the only one that can understand his thoughts.

"nami wouldn't like that." ran shook his head.

"i--"

"finally! the haitani's!" a voice interrupted rindou as they reached an alleyway filled with delinquents that greeted the brothers.

they were greeted by a rather tall boy, his pitch black hair was only long in the top as his sides were shaved, also having a blonde streak in the middle with orange eyes. his intimidating aura was noticed by the people around them as he only smiled widely at the two males that just came.

"who are you and what do you want." rindou straightforwardly asked, giving the guy his bored look as ran leaned on the side as he was still a little weak yet his attention was all over hanna.

they knew people couldn't be trusted these days especially delinquents like them, that world is filled with different skills, personalities and intentions. and gaining trust on a random person could be worked on for years. that was one of the reasons why rather prefer working as a duo since they've got the abilities of a large group.

"shuji hanma, leader of valhalla." he extended his arm yet the two only glared at it as hanma took it back immediately, sensing that the two were serious when it comes to these types of talks.

"i was just informing some of the guys around tokyo to spectate our fight with the tokyo manji gang next week, it will be good for a all of us to see who's worth being the top gang around tokyo eh? thats it, see ya!" he smiled and waved goodbye as a suspicious person with a hood soon followed hanma's footsteps, then disappearing into the darkness the alleyway with some busted streetlamps that gave a little source of light.

"tch, he really went his way just to see us? pathetic." rindou scoffed as both of them turned away, walking away from the gloomy atmosphere.

"we should go, it seems fun." ran smiled at the thought of a big brawl that they will encounter and just watch as people's asses getting kicked somewhat satisfied him.

"definitely. just dont bring that girl, i dont wanna deal with any more headaches." rolling his eyes as he side glanced his brother who was lost in his thoughts, and later on smiling at the thought of naomi. making his younger brother cringe and almost puke in disgust.

"hmm~ well it is pretty dangerous and i dont want nami-chan to get hurt, then she can stay here." ran finally decided making rindou sigh in relief, finally agreeing about his suggestion as they were always used to ran taking the lead.

a group of people that were crowding a random store caught their attention and making their steps into a slight halt, getting closer as the shards of glass that spread like crystals decorated the ground. non-stop chattering surrounded the environment as the vision store who's known in Roppongi for selling eye glasses, was a whole mess in the inside as cops and detectives examined every inch and corner.

"they said that one man did it all? thats insane!"

"i heard they'll release the cctv footage soon!"

"i hope that fool gets arrested! it even hospitalized the owner!"

the amethyst eyes of the brothers bore into each other as the younger could feel his older brothers death leading stare that could honestly scare anyone, it felt like his body turned into stone by medusa herself as deep down rindou knew that ran's anger could be felt on the pits of hell.

"you really had to send him in a coma, rindou?!" the door swung open as naomi was greeted with two angry men, almost dropping the hotpot she was holding.

"you really think i'm capable of doing such thing, brother?" rindou fought back as the two exchanges glares.

"i knew it, you did this. unless you have prove then there's nothing you can do to change my mind." ran huffed taking off his shoes, looking away.

"do you seriously believe the bullshit those people are saying?! i didnt do it."

"uh-- dinner is ready"

"shut up naomi!" rindou spat at the girl but later on regretting it after.

"rindou. watch your mouth." ran threatened. sending another death glare at his younger brother as he sat down the couch, ready to feast in at the sight of the delicious soup.

"fuck this!" rindou yelled, storming out of the door and out to the chilly weather. not caring about getting a cold due to him only wearing a loose shirt.

his feet bought him into the outside, sitting at the bottom stairs as he stared into the moonlit sky with hatred as the people were always testing him everyday, not a single one believing what he says not even his only relative.

"rindou." a soft voice called out behind, immediately annoying the fuck out of him more.

"fuck off naomi!" he spat with vain, not even daring to look behind.

"y-you can explain it to me, rindou. i'll list--" she tried to reason out the angry boy who was fuming with rage yet she still kept her cool, not showing any fear as it was only a minor misunderstanding.

"no! you wont! no one will! just piss off already!" his rough hands shoved the girls shoulders as he charged at her. her back falling to the cold floor, his eyes widened as he stared at it, his dirty hands.

the hands he used to break someones arm or leg, or maybe even both, the hands he's used to do punch and potentially hurt his opponents. it terrified him, the thought that his dirty hands touched her. he couldn't believe that maybe, just maybe it could infect her innocence. and he hated that.

his back faced her again as his lips twitched, still staring into the invisible hands that made him into the person he is today. it began to shake as the wind passed them, sending chills down his spine at he reminisced the wrongdoings he's been going though the years of his life.

"i-i-i-" his tongue couldn't form any words as his hands tugged his hair with frustration, at everything that has been happening as he was having an episode, and this time, she was watching.

"rindou..." she called out again as he felt a soft hand touch his shoulder making him freeze as if she somewhat had a superpower. yet instead of a sudden icy chill from the wind he felt sincere comfort.

"dont worry rindou, i believe you."
