A familiar hand waved infront of the dazed girl as she snapped out of her thought, bringing her back to the reality she once dreamed of leaving yet it doesn't work that way like it was in fairytales. and it is always the saying that reality is disappointing.

"jeez naomi, your ice cream is melting!" junko pointed out, the girl who was now holding a melted ice cream cone panicked as it dripped down her hand and dropping on her bare legs.

her conscious friend sighed at her as junko wiped some of the droplets of melted cookies and cream ice cream in her friends lap, it was a big mystery to her of what she ate since naomi was typically the talkative type yet today she felt distanced from everything. it was a worrying sight as its slowly breaking junko's heart to see her friend so... dead inside.

"thanks, junko." she smiled, a hint of sadness was laced in her voice. junko frowning as she pulled a big chunk of naomi's hair in anger, letting out a small ouch.

"what was that for!" naomi completely forgetting about her head injury as it made it worsen, but also choosing peace to not tell her friend so she wouldn't worry about it anymore.

"you look broken as hell naomi! you know you can tell me your problems." junko pouted cutely, taking a bite of her rice ball from the convenience store they went to earlier.

her thoughts kept yelling at her mentally to let it all out to junko, the urge was slowly killing her like a virus as she wanted to explode because of all the shit that's been happening that she was keeping it all to herself. yet her heart was the one she chose, it was a pain trying not to spill but naomi thought well. she couldn't risk her only friend as she as well could be in danger with knowing who naomi has been spending her days with.

"i just have a lot in mind lately, and i haven't gotten enough sleep." her lies were covered by the reassuring mask she gave to her friend. the guilt was also killing her softly as she did what she had to do, and that was to keep her loved ones close no matter how many lies she needed to say.

"sorry i'm late again!" a breathless haru was now infront of the two ladies, his hands trying to find support as it layed on his knees, standing as beads of sweat trickled down to the ground. it was such an awful sight to see your most energetic friend being a damn mess.

"i guess its my sign to leave!" junko stood up, winking at haru after grabbing her stuff and bolting away like flash.

the two left looked at each other before naomi offered the vacant seat next to her, since this was no stranger to her life at all. its been 2 straight days of the two males in shibuya, and so far she has only received one sentece updates from ran, it wondered her of their whereabouts and what they were doing.

"naomi-chan, do you have a boyfriend?" almost choking on her drink by the sudden question as haru offered her his water bottle yet she beat him to it by just drinking in her own bottle.

"sorry! that was too personal i guess." he flashed her a shy smile before scratching the back of his head.

"so hows your uncle and aunt? is sayako treating you well now?" he asked again, a quick flashback started to form in naomi's head the time ran almost killed her uncle, and God knows what they did inside her house to pick up her stuff, it somehow gave her chills of how scary and dangerous they actually are.
