NAOMI felt her heart pound as it was hammering against her chest that gave the hitched breaths uneasy to even blurt out a word, palms began to sweat profusely giving her shaky fingers not any justice to move an inch as her shaky figure was sandwiched on each side by the masked men. a van was probably the biggest car of choice yet the inside was as suffocating as getting stuck inside a glass jar, only making her anxiety and overthinking worsen.
"how do you know me?" she croaked, the stranger of a guy who had raven black hair and a two lines cut on his eyebrows, about in his early 30's judging from his sharp featuresーwas the first one to reveal its identity. though the question in her mind was how did they found out hers?
"we saw you with them a bunch of times, and the lady named yuna even gave us your social media accounts." he casually spoke with a deep husk on his voice, turning back as he took a laptop from his lap, the screen showing her actual accounts as even though she set it on private there was no escape in some still finding her profile.
she jaw clenched as well as her fists, ready to take it out on the snitch yet staying calm to keep her cool since it was no situation to be a mad dog at. though deep inside she knew and can feel hatred coming from someone especially her co worker which she didnt even do any harm on the first place.
"and you need my private information because?" asks naomi, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion as they all kept quiet except for the devil mask guy whose name was still untold, not like she cared anyways. it was rather unusal for abductors to know about their victims background profile since it was irrelevant and not worth sticking their nose into.
"because, we're not actually a criminal organization like them." he spoke, making her face scrunch even more yet also eager to know further as the stranger continued. "we're just people who grouped together to take revenge on that damn bonten!" he tightened his fist, a noticeable show of anger plastered on his face, judging from just the mention of the very name was enough to fume his wrath.
"why?" was the only words she spoke as she herself wanted to know more as well, it made her question about the unspoken things they didnt bother to tell herー afraid of the outcome of her reaction yet didnt even think it was a way of understanding their situation even more.
"pfft, why? you met them in person, yeah?"
"i dont know, i still havent met their boss." a straightforward answer was the elite choice other than a lie, since they could be lying so her response should be casual that no other second meaning could me made. on whatever information they have of them was factual then it still counted, but she knew there was always two sides to every story.
"let me show you then." he proceeded to insert a usb flashdrive that was the size of a thumb, her gaze still on the laptop as the feeling of a bumpy road almost made her fall to the next next to her who just listened to what she assumes is their leader or spokesperson.
her eyes widened at the amount of files filled half of the screen with different names, heart pounding in nervousness as he moved his finger as the arrow pressed one of probably 10-15 files. all remained in silence, somewhat giving her time to breath easily as the air conditioning reached their area. though the series of videos and pictures coming to light made her sweat turn cold as well as her blood running through her veins.
