-"CAN you still walk? i'm so sorry nami-chan~" ran cooed as the girl only replied with a laugh yet what he said was absolutely true.
it was the time were the two will eventually leave for shibuya again because of tenjiku, she couldn't lie that their matching black uniforms suited them so much and look good as heck. after the rather eventful new year, the two trained like crazy because of what she heard the gang toman is very strong. yet she hoped deep inside that they dont let their guard down too much.
"we're leaving now! goodbye for now my sweetheart." ran hugged naomi from the side as he let out his usual flying kiss before leaving first whilst his younger brother was also preparing.
"take care!" she waved goodbye with a small smile, glasses guy giving her his usual bored expression before walking up to her up close. making her heartbeat rapidly again, that was the effect hes done to her.
"see you soon, naomi." he whispered as he planted a kiss on her forehead. "and dont do dumb things you clumsy ass." he then flicked her forehead with his slender fingers as she took a steps back, slightly glaring at him before he waved and out the door he was.
she was alone again yet it was also the perfect time to relax for a while since the two could also be a handful sometimes, she just couldnt fucking walk properly since that day. though she couldnt deny that that was probably the best new years eve she ever had, and got to spend it with the people she cared about even though they only met not that long ago. shows that it doesnt really matter the time you spent on people.
"oh someones calling." she mumbled, her pink flip phone vibrating indicating a call as she gladly picked it up, only for heavy breathing to be heard the moment she accepted.
"hello?" she asked, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"n-naomi! where are you right now?" junko's voice from the other line suddenly spoke, the tone a bit off yet naomi chose to ignore.
"i'm at home right now, is everything okay junko? are you sick?" worry was laced in her voice as it felt like she was now catching her breath. a bit rare seeing her friend a bif off the hook, a little different from her usual vibe.
"n-no im fine! listen, can we meet up later? i'll text you the address!" her tone sounded a bit fake as if she was just putting on a show, making naomi worried even more for her friend as before she could answer the call has been ended, and trying to call again was a no no since the person was now busy.
"weird." she whispered, the thought of possible scenarios came in mind along with the two brothers that were away. she felt like a damn mother worrying about her kids that went to bootcamp or something as she tried to shrug off some negative things that were unhealthy for her mind.
-
the address bought her to an unfamiliar alleyway, strange to the fact that she felt like she was already brought here judging from its surroundings yet she couldnt put her thoughts on it as she was too busy worried about her friend.
upon receiving the text at night she knew ran would probably be pissed off at the thought of her going outside at night yet she couldnt fight her urges of seeing her best friend potentially having a hard time or even worse, she just prepared for the possible concequences she had to face if he ever finds out.
