-NAOMI could feel the tension as ran held her shoulders from the back, pulling away as his fingers dug onto her skin even though she wore a shirt. sensing that the older was probably angry but turning around to see that he was smiling like a maniac at his brother, and then back at her.
"i just want to see if he was having a fever." she explained as rindou only looked away, his hand brushing back his blond and blue hair. the older only side glanced his brother but soon changing his expression into a grin.
"very well, then~" his hand grabbed naomi's as he practically dragged her away from his younger brother. he just sighed and followed the two behind as if he were a lonely shadow.
"i'll heat up the hotpot.... again" naomi walked away awkwardly as she grabbed the pot and set it onto sa stove while ran sat on he couch and glasses guy on the floor as they waited for the yummy food yet refuse to say a word.
the girl noticed the tension as she both glanced at the two eating quietly as if they were strangers, on a rather normal day they would either tell naomi a random story about their fights or how they would break someones arm or discuss their future plans yet it was pure silence. it somehow annoyed her but she'd rather shut up then get her throat slit again.
"
rindou, let's talk, outside." rans serious as fuck voice broke the defeaning silence, making the girl a little worried of what might he actually do.
the younger didn't speak, just standing up after they ate and exiting the door as ran made a flying kiss to naomi before she was left alone again. it completely made her drift away from her outside world social life but she didnt have a choice as this was what she had gotten herself into, yet deep in her heart she badly needed to finish school as it was one of her parents dying wishes.
as she stood up about to clean up again, a sharp pain came from the back of her head, a reminder that her injury was still present but it was the first time that it hurt so badly. her vision became blurry as she held her head, attempting to ease the pain yet it was futile as it got the best of her as she saw nothing but pure darkness.
"rindou, you're my only brother. and i just got ahead of my emotions so i apologize." ran leaned on the cement wall as he dug his hands into his large hoodie, his younger brother doing the same but on the other side.
"whatever, we still going to shibuya?" rindou changed the subject as he didn't want to talk about it like he usually does. his older was used to his habit yet it was also one of the worst things he can do since he will all just keep it to himself instead of letting it out.
"of course! a big brawl is always exciting. wonder who's gonna die this time~" the braided male clapped his hands together as a sign of excitement.
"don't get your hopes up, brother. there is also police there." rindou reminded his overly excited brother since he can get carried away sometimes. the two males just stared at the blue sky like the younger did with the girl, him noticing that it was completely different feeling when it comes to her. and it annoyed him.
"oh, just to remind you, rindou, before i forget.. " ran properly stood up as he walked by his younger brother, who gave him a bored expression like always.
"have you forgotten what's mine and what's yours?" rindou's body tensed at the sight of his brother giving him a sadistic smile as if he were an enemy he was about to kill, yet the best way to handle this was to just keep it cool. he couldn't deny that his brother can and will be terrifying sometimes, especially when it comes to things he owns.
"no, why would i." he answered casually as ran's smile only became wider.
"nami-chan is mine."
"tch, you dont even have her permission." was rindou wanted to tell yet choosing peacefulness, he kept quiet and instead gave his brother a scoff as he saw ran's fist balled together.
indeed seeing someone calm yet raging on the inside is one of the scariest things as you might not know that they probably have killed you in their mind 10 times in 5 different ways. it was the same as the older brother, you never know what's going on into his head as he could be planning your own murder.
"i'll never like her, brother. i just bought her those so she wont be embarrassing to see." he let out a pathetic laugh again, trying his best to atleast lower the tension. "and i'll never like someone who makes salty hot pot."
fortunately, ran suddenly shrugged as if he was a different person and instead squinting his violet eyes into something else. rindou followed his brothers gaze as the both of them could now picture a silhouette of a man in a hood. the glasses guy just rolled his eyes as it was probably a psycho roaming around since their place wasnt normal people worthy at all. growing up in a place where you are surrounded by criminals and murderers, it has changed their perspective of the world.
"leave him, brother. its not worth it." rindou sighed as the man was suddenly running while looking around frantically like a damn maniac.
"hm, by the way, rindou, didn't i told you to not insult nami-chan's work?" the older brother glared at his younger beside him who only rolled his eyes as a response.
"the fuck is wrong with your taste buds?! it was salty as fuck and i bet she was tryin to kill us!" he ranted, ran only gave him a chuckle as he turned to the back, ready to go to their home again as he disregarded his brothers childish whining.
"do you mean what you said of you not ever liking her, rindou?" ran asked for the last time, its calming voice echoing the empty building entrance.
"yeah, i don't care." he scoffed, looking away again trying to find somewhere else to look at, trying to find the frown his face was forming.
"your words can eat you alive someday, so watch your back, okay?~"
