HINDI mapigilan ni Sakki ang matulala at isa isa na puntahan ang mga gamit na nasa isang kwarto dito sa Hotel nina Shawn. Everything is new and modern! Nakatingin lang sa kanya si Shawn at hinayaan siya na obserbahan ang bawat equipments na nasa loob ng kwarto.
Even the room was so extravagant! This is huge for her, kahit pa nga gagawa siya ng maraming gown. She's not one of Shawn's bridesmaids and that's fine with Sakki. Hindi naman kasi sila ganoon ka close at mukhang ang mga nanay nito ang pumili sa mga bridesmaids.
My eyes widened when she saw the mannequin, buong buhay na nagtatahi siya ng mga damit habang nandito sila sa Pilipinas, hindi siya nakagamit ng ganito. She only used Mannequin way back in Japan. Her eyes were twinkling every time she's seeing a modern equipments and tools. Pinadaan niya ang daliri sa sewing machine, she can tell that this is expensive.
Bumaling siya kay Shawn na nanood lang sa kanya, the woman was smiling brightly at her. Far different when she looked at her husband and to his husbands friends.
"Thank you! Pero, masyado naman kayong gumastos? I'm just going to use these once." she said while pointing all the tools and equipment they provided.
"Hindi naman kami ang gumastos. And don't ask me who, hindi din sinabi sa akin ng magaling kong asawa." Shawn chuckled before carefully sitting in the sofa.
Realization hits Sakki when she saw the sketch pad on her hand. Agad siyang umupo sa harap nito at humingi ng pasensya. Sakki opened her sketch pad and started to sketch a mannequin.
"Anong klaseng Gown ang gusto mo?" she asked without looking at Shawn. She needs to focus on her task, kapag tinignan niya ang babae na nasa harap niya ay baka matulala na naman siya sa kagandahan nito.
"I preferred the traditional gown, white and simple." she answered calmly. Sakki nod her head and started to outline, as long as possible hindi niya ginawang slim ang katawan ng mannequin na ini-sketch niya.
Shawn is pregnant and the measurements will surely be adjust while she's sewing her gown. Better to be safe than sorry. Nag research na rin siya kagabi nang mga traditional and other gown for wedding so she can have a glimpse of ideas. But she planned to have a original design, which is hindi naman mahirap sa parte niya.
Tahimik lang siya habang nag sketch sa sketch pad niya. While Shawn was watching her. When she finished the sketch, pinakita niya ito kay Shawn.
"Do you like this one?" iniharap niya ang sketch pad kay Shawn. Shawn parted her lips and nod her head, tinignan ulit ni Sakki ang gawa niya at kumunot ang noo niya. "Parang may kulang." she said and add some details in her sketch. Pero hindi 'yung makakadagdag sa bigat ng gown na gagawin niya. Just a little tiny design that will surely add elegance on the dress.
"Okay lang ba 'to sayo? O tatanggalin ko?" she asked.
"No, it's fine. Go on." Shawn answered while watching her.
After adding a little that surely will not be noticed. Pinakita ulit niya ang sketch niya kay Shawn.
"I love it! I love that the word 'simple' has different definition on your vocabulary." natatawang komento ni Shawn sa kanya. Sakki chuckled and stared at her sketch. She's satisfied with her work because Shawn loves it.
"This is the simplest Gown I've ever done." nakangiting sabi niya sa babae. Well, all of sketches was full of efforts, at talagang pinagbubuhusan niya ng oras.
"I noticed. But this is the best one for me, since this is going to be my wedding gown and this is your first sketch that you're going to sew." Ngumiti si Sakki kay Shawn.
