Chapter 53

Zero gritted his teeth while chewing some curse words under his breath that X will scold him if he was here to hear it coming out for him

He tries to think about something than doing what the spy, but to no avail that came across his mind in which wants him to since something or someone in front of him right now, and no the smug face that the bastard is not helping to check his ragging circuit from exploding 

Zero let out a "tch" once more the spy press hard the buster on Bass head again while Bass struggle against his hold around him, He can see the huge intent in Bass eye's that it looks like Bass is going to radiate this person who held him to the oblivion of pieces once get out his hold 

The spy eyed him with a look that said he won victories in this battle, so without any warning, he nug his buster on Bass head while letting out a 'shisss' escaping from his mouth and struggling or thrashing more to get out the hold that holding him down

"This your last chance, choice wisely or this head of his will blow off,"

After that, the spy says nothing more than a smug smirk on his face while in his thoughts are trying to come out with an escape plan if this didn't work 

On the left corner of his eyes, his gaze shift towards the struggling bot in his held who keeps on moving while trying to set himself free from his hold

he wonders what he should do to him since he saw everything before this fight has started in the first place. At first, he thought of killing him instead but it was flown out the corner of his circuit not long ago the strongest maverick hunter that belongs to the zero units has come to his aid but what if he took him as his hostage back to their base? Commander Sigma might praise him for his  beef of a token on what he has done on giving them the upper hand on using Bass over the hunters head in controlling and stopping them from interfering with their plans 

and also this his chance to get his rank to move higher in the level of Commandeer Sigma most trust units of his command and maybe he might become one of them 

{"This plan is full proof than the first one "} Th spy said through his thoughts and not noticing that his grip around a certain bot that he has taken as hostage loosen 

Bass took this chance to elbow him through the gut hard to cause the spy to let him go with a gasp before stumbling a few inches away from Bass

Before the spy could do anything, he receives a swift kick upright  through his chin in which cause him to fly upward with his neck bended

"Why you-!" The spy says before shot Bass on the right shoulder

Bass lets out a grunt of pain as his shoulder was shooted before yelling "Girly-bot do it now!"

 this cause Zero to act fastly to this opening chance by drawing his saber sword out and dashing forward towards them at fast speed before slicing off the spy buster off along with its arm in which causing a scream from the spy but it was cut off shortly when Zero punches the spy square in the face before slam-knocking him down to the ground

That causes the spy to bite down his breath with a choking sound coming out of him as the ground beneath him opens up with a huge crack beneath the ground 

his vision was circuited blurry before his system went to a blackout, Zero has crushed his right leg with a sickening sound of metal bending close to each and wire tearing and ripping each other from the inside with sparks coming out from the inside and outside, as the oil leak out beneath the craked armor 

Once the spy was brutally knocked unconscious, Zero quickly went towards Bass who was clutching his right shoulder with his left arm gripping all over it 

"Hey, Are you alright?" Zero asks while kneeling down next to Bass, watching him trying to stop the oil from leaking out

"Yes, I'm fine" Bass said with a hiss on his voice while trying his head to the side not looking at Zero in the eyes " Don't worry about it,"

Still clutching his right shoulder with a hard grip to stop the oil coming out much out of it

Zero stared at him for a moment before letting out a sigh from his mouth and give Bass an irritated look across his, seemly it looks like he finally has enough of Bass tsundere attitude in ego in front of him  

So, Zero did something that pulls him out of the character by 

scooping Bass up in which cause Bass to let out a surprise sound before being flip over to Zero shoulders, as Zero carries him while dragging the spy body along with them by the leg as they walk back to the base 

"Hey, put me down!" Bass whined out as tries to let Zero put him down " I can walk by myself"

Zero stops in his track and turning his gaze towards Bass who was giving him a glare 

Zero give him a blank stare before letting a snort before replying in a deadman tone drip around his voice as he says "No,"

"What?"

"I said No, are you deaf?" Zero said before turning his gaze away from him, as he continues walking while dragging the spy 

"Grrr..."

" If you keep on "Grrr" like that, I will be starting to think your cat than a dog because you're acting like one,"

"Stfu, I'm not a cat nor act one like,"

"hm... Nah, I don't believe you,"

"Fuck you," Bass said while pulling out his middle finger towards Zero while Zero gives him an eye roll 

"How childish,"

"shut it! and also put me down!!"

"No,"

They keep on barking at each other back and forth while dragging the body between them, as they continue to walk back to the base 

" I say it again, put me down this instant!"

"No,"

"Fuck you!"
