It was close to curfew and Hope was in the library. She was perfectly aware that Landon was going to show up soon... in fact, she was hoping to speak with him. She wanted to share what she learnt from Freya, hoping that he could help figure out the things Hope was looking for. Hope still wasn't ready to share why she was looking for a tribrid, but she started to trust Landon... and she couldn't stop wondering if this was happening because of what Freya said. Could she really have a harmless crush on him? Well... he was handsome, beautiful even. He was kind and nothing but nice to Hope... sometimes annoying but in a charming way. Oh shit... Hope totally crushed on him. No wonder her wolf wanted to devour him.

Landon entered the library. He came a little bit earlier than usual.

"Hey" He smiled at Hope and started to walk towards her.

"Hey" Hope smiled back as she was sitting on a couch. "Do you need to close up earlier today?" she asked curiously.

"Nah... I was just hoping you'd be here." He said and Hope noticed him slightly blushing.

"Oh." Hope said and had a curious look on her. She didn't expect this answer from him. But he was probably just as invested in the Mikaelson story as Hope was and that's why he wanted to talk to Hope. "I.. I did find out some new information from Freya." She added.

"About the Mikaelson baby?" He asked curiously and sat next to Hope on the couch. He turned his whole body towards Hope.

"Yeah." Hope nodded and turned to her side facing him, tucking one of her legs underneath her. "She was born a hybrid. With vampire blood in her."

"What? Is that even possible? Do you think the baby needed to feed on blood?" He asked with a disturbed expression.

"Freya said she wasn't a vampire, only had the blood, so probably not." Hope shrugged.

"Hmm... yeah it makes more sense like that. Maybe when she dies, she'll turn into a vampire, no need for another vamp to turn her."

"That does make sense. So then she would be a real hybrid like Klaus."

"Yeah... so weird to know there's another hybrid out there... and it's so weird Freya told you these. I mean I talk to her regularly and pretty much all the students, but I don't think the conversations are about her or her family." Landon shrugged. It was strange now that Landon said it.

"Maybe she shared so I would open up more... it's not like I was willing to talk to her at first."

"You are definitely hard to get through." Landon chuckled then blushed.

"Hey!" Hope said as she smiled and hit Landon's arm jokingly.

"Wait..." Landon looked stunned and Hope looked at him curiously. "I think I figured it out!"

"What?"

"Last time you said, the firstborns like this baby were born with a great amount of magic power." He said and Hope nodded. "Then she is not a hybrid, Hope. She is the tribrid. Born as a powerful witch with the wolf gene and with vampire blood." Landon looked like he just hit the jackpot and Hope was speechless. It actually sounded like a possibility.

"Wow." That's all Hope was able to say, because now that she knew who the tribrid was she had to figure out how it was all connected to her parent's death.

"There is a connection between Klaus Mikaelson and the tribrid. You were right. I can't believe this." Landon said happily. He was smart. Hope couldn't have come this far without him, without his insight and without their talks. She needed him. He could actually help her figure out the rest... so Hope decided to let him in and tell him things that she never told anyone before. She let out a deep sigh and Landon looked at her concerned.
