I woke up early the next morning because I was so excited to be hanging out with Josh. I grabbed a towel from the closet outside of the bathroom that I shared with my mother and hopped in the shower. After my shower, I dried and straightened my long brown hair, that was usually curly. I decided not to do my make up so early, so I went back to my room and grabbed my phone. I checked my twitter for a few minutes, scrolling through some tweets and laughing at them.

At 10, I decided that I should probably eat something. My mother went to work at 8, so I had the house to myself, except for Princess. I let her outside as I cooked myself an omelet with salsa and cheese in it. My absolute favourite (A/N: Seriously people. It is beyond delicious. You should try it). After I let my dog back in and finished breakfast, it was 11. Only 3 hours. I sighed at my ridiculousness. If I was going to be working with them, I had to learn to stay calm - treat them like real people. I mean, I knew that they were real people. They're just really fucking awesome people.

I went back to my room and messed around on my laptop for a while, reading some new stories and such. My phone beeped, telling me I had a text at about noon.

Going to be early. 1 okay?

I smiled at Josh's text. Yeah that's fine!

I ran to the bathroom to do my make up, making my bluish green eyes stand out against my pale skin. I fixed my hair so it wasn't frizzy or sticking up anywhere and ran back to my room to get dressed. I glanced at the time. It was 12:30. I mentally cursed myself for telling Josh it was fine to be early, but I wasn't going to tell him no. I pulled on my favourite black skinny jeans with a black tank top. I put on my favourite pink t shirt that had a bit of sparkle to it with New York written on it with black and sliver letters.

I heard the doorbell ring and glanced out my window to see Josh's car in my driveway again. I couldn't stopped smiling. I tried to calm myself as I got to the front door and opened it. Josh smiled at me as I opened the door. "Ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, just let me grab my bag and my shoes."

He walked into the kitchen as I went back upstairs to grab my purse, checking that my cell phone, wallet, and keys were in it. I looked at my shoes and decided to wear my pink and silver high tops. Josh was petting Princess as I walked in. I laughed. "She likes you," I said, nodding towards my dog.

He smiled. "I've been told I'm quite likable."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "And egotistical apparently."

He just smiled. "Ready now?"

"Yeah, let's go."

I locked the door behind me and went around to the passenger side of Josh's car. "This car is beautiful," I said as he climbed in.

"Yeah, too bad it's a rental. I'd love to actually own it. So where are we going?"

"Um, have you ever been to Cavendish?"

"I've been to Charlottetown and here and wherever I passed through to get to those places, so you tell me," he said laughing.

I laughed too. "No, I guess you haven't then. Take a right out of my driveway and just keep driving.

We drove up through to Cavendish. I took him to the Cavendish Boardwalk and we looked through all of the little shops there. "Ever have a Beaver Tail?" I asked when we left the last store on the boardwalk.

"No."

"Come on then!" I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him along before I realized what I did. I blushed when I realized that I had held his hand.
