First thing at daylight, everyone was called over for a meeting with the Queen. Both the Survey Corps and the Military Police were present where they began to talk about the Jaegerists Massacre that happened last night.

"At each of Sina's military bases, we found nothing but carnage. We counted an estimate of 100 corpses combined at all outposts. We have no traces on who the culprit could be. We've gathered as many items from the scenes as possible. These three letters are part of we found the rest were personal belongings." Nile announced.

Armin inspected the notes. He read all the notes repeatedly. He recognized the handwriting from who he suspects is behind all this.

"These just look like personal notes that were written toward their family. However, I do recognize this handwriting...Crisp and consistent it's almost textbook... This is Eren's handwriting."

That was when Armin realized there was a secret message written on the letters.

"Defiling a god..."

"Yelena did you know? "

"Ends with punishment worse than death..."

He began organizing the letters in a way that it would make sense.

"Yelena, did you know? Defiling a god ends with punishment worse than death."

"This confirms it all. Mikasa's suspicion was right. Yelena was the one behind all this. I had the feeling it wasn't Eren."

"Is there anything wrong?" Mikasa whispered.

"Yes. I'll explain it after the meeting. I think Eren is planning something." Armin whispered back.

Mikasa nodded and backed away. The meeting continued which moved on to the searches for Eren.

"We have no traces on Eren Jaeger. Not even a sighting. We will continue our search until he's locked up." Nile stated.

After the meeting, everyone headed out the Squad went out for breakfast. Armin and Mikasa decided not to as they were going to discuss everything that happened. They went to a room and made sure they spoke quietly so no one could hear them.

"So, what was it that was wrong?" Mikasa asked.

"There was a secret message in those letters. It said, "Yelena, did you know? Defiling a god ends with punishment worse than death."... Thing is that the handwriting was Eren's. I know because no one writes that perfectly... This pretty much confirms everything you've thought. Yelena was behind the attack. Eren is trying to send us a message by killing that many people. It was a signal to let us know that he is fighting for us..."

"I want to assume that the people he killed were Jaegerists. This is based on the fact that among the bodies we've collected, one of them was Floch's who we know has worked with Yelena and he always cheered Eren on." Armin explained.

"So, what happens from now?"

"Well, I wish I knew the answer to that. However, Eren can't kill Yelena. He needs her alive or else Zeke will suspect that he's turned on him. Plus, she may be withholding information. Which correlates with the Message. He's planning on letting the Military Police deal with her in the hopes of extracting information from her by any means necessary. In short, they will capture and torture information out of her." Armin explained.

"I guess endless pain would be worse than death." Armin thought.

Mikasa sighed with relief. She hasn't seen Eren in about week at this point but at least she now knows who's side he's on.

"What is left for us to do now is to find him, but that will hard." Mikasa stated.

"I'd say it's impossible at this point. He's on the run from the Military Police. He's not gonna stay in one place. He'll be moving as much as he can to avoid being caught. Our best bet now is to wait for him to come to us.

Eren was back in the Castle. He was in the basement just drinking some tea. He wasn't as tense anymore he took care of what was bothering him the most, the Uprising of the Jaegerists.

"Hopefully someone caught on to that Message I left. The rest should be easy from this point. Yelena has already been detained so perhaps they will imprison her. Most Jaegerists were part of the Scouts and that resulted in the MPs losing trust in them. With me killing all those Jaegerists, maybe some trust will be restored...."

"I can't operate during the day. If someone sees me using ODM gear I will obviously be reported to authorities. I need to find Zeke quickly. They put the Captain in charge of him. Those two hate each other's guts. Something bad could happen to either or."

-

Levi with other Scouts where in a forest to keep Zeke far away from any city. Zeke was sat on crate while reading the exact same book he was reading earlier. Levi was across from him while giving a death glare.

"Can you please stop glaring, Levi?"

"What? So, you can read that book? You've already read it for the 10th time now."

Zeke took his nose off his book and reached out for the glass of wine beside. He grabbed and saw that he already drank it all.

"Is there anymore wine left?"

"No. You think this is a 5-star hotel? There's plenty of trees. That should do it for you." Levi said then stood up and walked away. He couldn't handle being around Zeke any more than the next person.

Levi walked toward a tree where he was handed a newspaper by one of the other Scouts. He read it and his eyes widened with shock.

"Over 100 people found dead in Sina's military bases. First reported sightings of the Massacre was at quarter past 12 AM. The culprit behind all these murders is still yet unknown."

"What the hell is going?" Levi thought.

It was now nighttime. The Squad had to of course relocate after the incident last night. Armin and Mikasa chose to stay quiet about all the leads they found in the morning's meeting as they felt Eren was up to something.

"So, Armin. Got any leads on Eren?" Jean asked.

"Not in the slightest." He lied.

"Not surprise, honestly. He can be quite the confusing one."

"Yeah." Armin responded.

The Squad made it to the apartments the Military Police arranged for them. They stopped in front of the apartments and bid each other goodbye.

"Well, see you all tomorrow. Have a good one, you all." Connie said.

"Likewise." They responded then went their separate ways except for Armin and Mikasa who's apartments were upstairs.

They went up the set of stairs. It was a quiet night this time. Nothing could be worse than the sights they saw yesterday.

"So, what do you think Eren's planning?" Mikasa asked.

"I'd say he's going to operate stealthy and be precise with his moves. Since he's on the run, he'll most likely make his move at night." Armin stated.

Mikasa looked down a little sad. She missed being with him.

"I just...Want to see him. At least one more time."

"Looking for someone?" A low yet soothing voice whispered in their ears.

They both immediately stopped and slowly looked back. The two already knew who it was. No one has that smooth of voice like...

"Ereh!" Mikasa said happily.

"Eren, how did you get here? We're so far into Sina. How did you pass by undetected?" Armin exclaimed then noticed the blindfold over his eyes, but he'd much rather ask him later.

"I have my ways, Armin. That said, let's have a talk...As friends."
