A meeting was being held. The Military Police, the Survey Corps, and Historia discussed everything that happened. The MPs of course wanted Eren dead, but that wasn't going to happen.

"He is a danger to us all. He threatened the safety of the Queen by killing Premier Zachary." An MP said.

Eren was in the room and was handcuffed. He wasn't chained to a pole like he was 4 years ago. He stood by a podium with a bored expression.

"Eren wasn't responsible for the attack it was Yelena. If he wanted everyone on this Island dead, he would've done by now and we wouldn't be here in this room talking matters with him." Armin stated. He began explaining basically everything. Armin spoke and Eren was almost completely zoned out.

"This is so stupid. It will be hard to get through their thick heads, but the decision lies in Historia."

Eren got himself out of his world as Armin was wrapping up his speech.

"Look..." Armin said and pointed out the window.

"The walls are gone. If it wasn't for Eren's efforts, they would still be there. He did the Rumbling to finally put an end to the Titan powers. He's been on our side the whole time."

All the MPs stayed quiet. Armin completely shut them up. As much as they wanted Eren dead, they couldn't even come up with a dumb lie to get him killed. The only reasonable person in the Military Police, Nile Dawk, asked Eren a question.

"Eren Jaeger, is this all true? Is Yelena the one who is to be held accountable for all this?"

"Yeah. She planned that attack out and blamed it all on me.... You have her detained for the Assault on Liberio. You should keep it that way.... That said, the decision is all in Historia's hands now." Eren said then looked at Historia.

After the meeting, the others went to eat. Eren was walking around the Palace's garden alongside Historia. Eren wanted to talk.

"So, what was it that you wanna talk about?" Historia asked.

Eren stopped walking and so did Historia. He stayed quiet for a while and Historia waited for an answer.

"I don't have much to talk about.... Just come with me." Eren said and Historia followed him.

"Where are you taking me?" Historia asked as they walked to back of the garden.

"Just come."

Eren took her to back of the Palace garden. There were trees lined around the back and were decorated with many types of flowers. They stopped walking near one of the trees and Eren waited with his hands in his pockets.

"Why are we here?" Historia asked, but received no answer from Eren.

"Hey, beautiful. It's been a while." A woman's voice said from behind the tree. Historia's bright blue eyes widened at the sound.

"That voice...."

"Ymir..."

Ymir came out from behind the tree and Historia felt tears rise. Ymir looked older. Old enough to match her age. Her brown hair reached her shoulder blades, her freckles blended in more with her skin, and she was slightly taller than Eren's shoulders.

Historia ran at Ymir before engulfing her in a hug. Ymir returned her embrace and was able to hear Historia's muffled cries.

"Oh, my sweet little Krista. I thought I would never see you again." Ymir said with a tear in her eye. Historia pulled away and wrapped her arms around Ymir's. The two walked toward Eren who just stood there.
