Our Story

Three years later...

The world has come to recognize Paradis as their saviors. Paradis opened up many trading routes and created alliances with the nations of the world. With each day, the world grows prosperous and technological advancements have reached a high.

Smart phones, electric cars, alternative sources of power, etc. have come to fruition thanks to the world's efforts. Cities have grown and people moved from a life of agriculture to a more urbanized lifestyle.

The Survey Corps explored the world and with the many maps they've drawn, they've created an accurate models of the globe. The Squad was in their early 20s except for Levi and Hanji who were in their early 30s.

With time comes change. Eren cut his hair up to ear thanks to Mikasa. Mikasa let her hair grow and now styled it in a ponytail. Sasha too let her hair grow and was now in a happy relationship with Niccolo. Connie was still bald and had someone special in mind. Reiner looked the same and was still simping for Historia, but Ymir wouldn't let him get close. Jean still looked the same and has grown close with Pieck. Armin had his hair combed and Annie let it grow out like the other girls. Then, there are the two kids of the group Gabi and Falco, who were now 15 years old. Gabi and Falco have grown close to Eren and Mikasa, who they thought were the kindest and most patient people of the group.

The Squad was in Historia's Palace gathered around a table. Connie looked frustrated as he tried to figure out how the phone worked.

"Damn it. How does this thing work?" Connie said with frustration.

Eren was slouched against the chair as he scrolled through his phone. He looked at Connie from the corner of his eye.

"I know he's dumb, but not to this extent." He thought.

Armin stood up and walked over to Connie to lend him a hand. He took the phone off his hands and looked to see what the problem was.

"The phone isn't even on!" Armin exclaimed. Armin began explaining how to use to Connie. He was the only one who was having trouble, but who can blame him. They were still brand new to their world.

"You see this button? This is for it to turn on. The two keys above the turn on button are for sound." Armin explained.

"The rest is simple enough." Armin added.

"Oh." That was all Connie managed to say. Ymir, who was across the table, was laughing at Connie's stupidity.

"You sure are stupid for someone with such a big head!" Ymir said.

"Yeah, yeah. Laugh all you want."

Eren sat up and tried to slick back his hair when he realized that his hair wasn't that long anymore. He let out a sigh and began throwing his phone up in the air out of boredom. He then remembered something that he completely forgot about. He turned to Mikasa was looking at him.

"So, Mika, what was it that you wanted to tell me." He said at a level to were only her could hear him.

"Mika?" She thought.

"Oh, right...I'll tell you later. I'd rather us be alone for this." She responded.

They all now sat in silence. Eren was getting anxious to what was so important that Mikasa wanted to talk about. Jean out the blue asked a question.

"So, have you guys gotten a hang of this whole driving thing?"

"It's not that hard." They all said.

"Though, it is strange not travelling by horse anymore." Armin said.

"It's faster at least." Sasha said.

It was now nighttime. Eren and Mikasa walked to their house. The Military Police gave the whole Squad houses for them to stay in. It was a show of gratitude for their efforts. They deserved it. They were the ones who made the world a better place.

Eren unlocked the door with a set of keys and opened the door for Mikasa to walk in. The house was clean. Not a single spot or speck of dust to be seen. After being part of Levi's Squad for 7 years, and after being told to clean a lot of the time, him and Mikasa both picked up Levi's cleaning habits.

They walked toward their bedroom were Mikasa sat on the bed and Eren sat beside her. Mikasa has been preparing herself the whole day for this. It was time he knew about something.

"So, what was it that you want to talk about?" Eren asked. There was silence for a second or two before Mikasa let out a sigh.

"Remember...What we did two months ago?" She asked while looking down.

"Yeah?"

"Well...I asked you to not wear protection because I felt ready...."

Eren's curiosity was at its peak now. He raised an eyebrow and listened to what she had to say.

"I been waiting to tell you that...."

"I'm....I'm two months pregnant."

Eren's emerald-green eyes widened with a flurry of emotions. From surprise to joy. As much as he tried to calm himself down, the excitement was overwhelming.

"I'm....I'm..."

"I'm going to be a father?!" Eren asked. Mikasa softly smiled and nodded. Eren pulled her in for a hug. He held onto her tightly. After 7 years of being together, they finally get to raise a child of their own.

"Thank you.... For....Everything."

One year later....

Ymir and Historia were married and took care of the kids they took to their cottage. Armin and Annie had a kid on the way. Jean and Pieck were engaged. Sasha and Niccolo now owned a chain of restaurants and too had a kid on the way. Connie and Hitch had something going. Surprisingly, Levi has learned to be a bit less harsh and has grown closer to Hanji. Then there was Eren and Mikasa, they brought a child to light.

With each day, life just seemed to get better. They were all making the most out of it and they will all soon bring the next generation to life.

"I think it's about time...We tell them Our Story..."

"Ever since I was born, I've always dreamt of a life of peace and freedom. We fought countless battles. We lost a great many of soldiers. We witnessed family die by the hands of the Titans. However, all those deaths led to all this. They lied down this path for us. They gave it their all and were willing to die for the cause..."

"For generations to come, we wish you all the best. We wish that you will never have to witness the tragedies that we saw with our very eyes. We thank to those who died, those who fought, and those who still continue."

"To those who hear this Message now and to those who will, thank you...I used to always say to myself, "I won't let their deaths be in vain." because I felt that they weren't. Our Story continues even after we die...."

"I now leave this Story be directed by our children...But for now...."
