My War

What place do children have in war? For most the answer would be to grief or weep over the deaths of their loved ones or to wait for their loved ones to arrive back home. But this answer differs for Marley. Children in Marley enroll in the military at a very young age. They start training in their childhood in order to create talented soldiers. Gabi Braun, Falco Grice, Udo, and Zofia are instances of this. They are Warrior Candidates who have been training since their youth and are known as the most talented among the military.

Marley was preparing for the upcoming event. They were building a stage the Tybur's will make their announcement. Marley's declaration of war. The same place where heaven will end, and hell will begin.

"Are we really going to declare war from here in the Interment Zone?" Udo asked.

"They say all Marlyean generals are coming then, all those Devils will know the true power of Marley." Gabi said while munching on a piece of bread.

"Fantastic! Seems like all of Marley's problems are about to disappear." Udo said sarcastically.

"You think it won't work?" Gabi asked.

"I doubt it. Even if we bring Eldia down, eventually the world will come together and bring an end to Marley. We aren't treated well here, but compared to the hate Marley faces abroad, we should consider ourselves lucky." Udo stated.

"I guess you're right. Hopefully one day everything will change and Eldians will be free here in Marley. All these battles. It's getting boring here. I want something to happen."

*Meanwhile*

The Survey Corps was now overseas. The veterans where all in front of the airship while the rookies where at the back. Most of the newbies were nervous while the veterans said otherwise.

The former Levi Squad was at front either sleeping or just relaxing. Eren was sitting down with his head rested against the wall and Mikasa's head rested on his shoulders. Armin was asleep against the wall; Jean was keeping watch on the rookies especially that dumbass (Floch). Sasha was laying down with a dead look on her face and Connie was also asleep.

"Does anyone have food?" Sasha asked sluggishly.

"Hey, look alive." Eren said then tossed Sasha a piece of bread.

Sasha looked in Eren's direction and saw the piece of bread coming her way. Her eyes immediately lit up as she caught the piece of bread and gobbled it up before she could even show some formality.

"Thank you!" Sasha said as she gulped the bread down.

"You're welcome. Here you can have another." Eren said then tossed another piece of bread at Sasha.

"Quit it, Jaeger. She isn't a bird." Jean said as he stepped back in the room.

"Yeah, yeah." Eren said nonchalantly.

Eren looked to his side and saw Mikasa sleeping. He gently stood up so he wouldn't wake her up then walked up to a window.

"Judging by the pace we're going at, we should arrive by night.... I hope you're ready, Zeke. Everything has gone just as we've planned, but this is a war I'll have to fight on my own."

"I'm going to give you bastards the same treatment you gave us. I won't spare a single one of you."

*Time Skip*

Everything has been set up for the Tybur's declaration of war on Marley's behalf. All generals, civilians, honorary Marlyeans, Warrior Candidates, and Titan Shifters were present.

It was complete darkness until a spotlight shone on the middle of the stage where Willy was. He bowed as the crowd cheered, he cleared his throat, and began his speech.
