I opened my door and headed towards the closet and grabbed some jeans and a plain purple shirt.

Just as I was leaving my room to change in the bathroom, I heard my window open. I turned around and saw Vector.

"What do you want, Vector?" I asked.

"Listen, I'm really sorry about what I said at dinner. I was mad because of past events, and I let it get in the way of things. Zueki, no one else deserves to be princess except you." He said.

I smiled. "Thanks. I forgive you, but what do you mean, 'past events'? Was there another princess?" I asked.

Vector turned around. "Her name was Bella. Alito and I had adopted her after we graduated. She was crowned princess at 18, but Don Thousand's forces attacked, and she gave her life up for mine."

"Vector, I'm so sorry. I wish I was there. I could've done something." I said.

"Yeah, I wish I could've done more for her. Anyways, I'll see you around." Vector said as he left.

I just finished getting changed. I explained to Shark and Yuma that I wanted to go alone, and that I would be the one to call Trey and Kari if it worked. They allowed me to, then I was off.

I arrived at the hospital and a nurse directed me to the ICU unit Quinton was held in. Once she left, I gently pulled the bandages off of his chest and placed one hand on the wound and the other on his head.

Please let this work!

I began healing Quinton as much as I could without being in my Barian form. The wound on his chest disappeared and his heart rate became a bit more steady.

I removed my hands and looked at Quinton, hoping he would wake up.

Just when I had lost all hope, he opened his eyes!

"Quinton!?" I jumped up from my chair and looked him in the eyes.

"It worked..." I said with tears in my eyes.

I ran out into the hallway and called for a nurse. Once one of them saw me, they came into Quinton's room.

"Can you please wait outside the room while I check his vitals?" The nurse asked. I was about to leave, but Quinton spoke up.

"No. She's staying. You don't need her to leave for that." He said.

The nurse looked irritated, but continued to check Quinton.

"His wound is gone, and the bandages are torn. How did this happen?" The nurse asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. When I came in here, it was like that. I assumed the doctors did something."

I wasn't good at lying with the family, but I was VERY good at lying to strangers.

"What a pity. Well, guess you leave me no choice." The nurse walked over to a shelf and grabbed some scissors.

She then ran towards Quinton, raising them high. I jumped forward and grabbed her arm, then swept her legs.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I yelled, pinning her to the ground.

"Creating a new wound of course!" She said with an evil laugh.

Why does this girl look familiar? I wonder...

I pulled the girl's mask off, and she was the same nurse that treated Yuma!

"You were the same nurse treating my dad! He woke up the next morning poisoned! You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?" I asked.
