Chapter 25: A deal with the spirits.

"Zueki! Wake up!"

I opened my eyes to see I was laying on the floor, next to all of the Barians, who were crying.

I stood up and walked over to them. "Why are you guys crying? I'm not dead." I said, putting my hand on Vector's shoulder.

But my hand went THROUGH it!

I freaked out as I tripped and fell down on my body.

My dead body.

I saw Shark and Yuma crying while saying some things.

"I'm so sorry Zueki... I should've done something else. I'm sorry I couldn't heal you!" Shark said, tears falling from his face.

I... died...

"Zueki."

I turned around to see Jack and Zen. "What happened to me?" I asked.

"You were stabbed by a knife that was made by Don Thousand. The wound made with the knife can't be healed by Barian powers." Zen explained.

I turned around and looked at the knife and noticed that it was made out of different material than a normal knife.

I looked at the two of them. "So, any way to get back to the living world?" I asked.

Zen shook her head. "Not that we've found out."

"Fuck." I said, sitting on the ground, cross-legged.

"Zueki?"

I turned around and saw Astral looking right at me.

"Well someone certainly stayed in the key for a long time. Wonder if it ever gets lonely for him..." I said.

Astral came closer. "It does not." He replied.

My eyes widened. "Wait! You can see me?!" I asked. Astral nodded. "I can. And I believe I have found a way to restore the spirits into their normal bodies."

"Where the hell were you four months ago dude?! I could've been brought back and none of this would have happened!" Zen said.

Astral looked at her. "Yes, well your body is in a different dimension, therefore I can not restore your spirit until I have it." He said.

"Okay, but how are you going to send me back? I'd like to hear a plan." I said.

"It is quite a simple plan. You and I have to come together and create Chaos ZeXal. Once we do that, I can use our combined powers to send you back. However, you may not wake up for a few hours." Astral explained.

"Alright, let's do it then! I-"

Suddenly, I was cut off by a loud bang. I looked over at the entrance to see Jessica and Eva standing there with their guns held high.

"You're all our prisoners now. Anyone who refuses will be shot and killed." Eva said.

Several of the Barians jumped up and were blocking....me?!

This confused the hell out of me. I was dead! Why would they still defend my dead body?!

"Astral! We need to get me back now!" I said, running over to my body.

"Zueki, I do not know if we will be able to do this or not. Chaos ZeXal was unstable last time." Astral said.

"We have to try! I can prove Eva wrong and help everyone right here, right now! Please!" I said.

"Well... We can try our best." Astral replied.

Astral flew over towards me as I slowly had my Barian energy flow through my veins. I was consumed by a white light as I fused with Astral.

Once we were fused, I noticed everyone looking at me.

"Ah, I see you've become like the spirit!" Eva said, firing her gun at me.

I quickly dodged her bullet and formed a shield. "Shark! Get the others out of here and to a safe place! Take my body with you and I'll meet up with you later!" I said.

"Zueki! I-"

"Apologize later Shark! Just get out of here now!" I yelled, running over to Eva to attack her.

As Shark and the others were running away, I had to deal with two psychopaths that wanted my parents.

"Zueki! I'm so glad you've come back to us in this form! Makes me feel better about killing you!" Eva said, attacking me.

I dodged her attack and went after Jessica. I punched her with all my might, feeling my rage for her become stronger after I remembered she was with Yuma an hour ago, torturing him.

What happened next, I was not expecting. Jessica went flying backwards and hit the solid brick wall.

Have no idea if she was dead, but a wave of satisfaction washed over me.

"Nice hit!" Mizar said.

I laughed a little, but that didn't last long before Eva tackled me, using powers of her own to try and harm me.

I tried my best to dodge most of them, but I still got hit with a few.

"I'll rip that pathetic spirit right out of your body!" She yelled as she put something on.

Upon a closer inspection, I saw that it was my Miraculous! I quickly turned around and saw that it wasn't on my neck anymore!

"How the hell did you get that?!" I yelled furiously.

"Jessica gave me a few words of advice. Now with my new powers, I'll bring this entire place down, killing EVERYONE!" Eva said, transforming.

She aimed her hand at the roof and blasted it, and it wasn't long before the roof came down on us.

Luckily, I had made it over to the group of people, and along with Shark, Mizar and Alito, we created a shield to protect everyone.

"Zueki, you must return to your body now!" Astral said.

"No! Everyone's in danger right now, and there's no one here to take our spot!" I said, looking around.

Dumon and Rio were still weak, and Vector was out cold. Girag had gotten up and started helping with the shield, but it wasn't enough to stabilize it.

Yuma got up and walked over to where I was, reaching his hands up slightly.

"Yuma! Don't do it! It's too risky for you!" Shark yelled.

Yuma didn't acknowledge him and...transformed?! Into a Barian?!

"Zueki, I'll take it from here!" He said, forming a shield.

"Yuma?! What the hell?! You're a-"

I was cut off by Astral, who used his powers to send me back into my body. And then, everything was just dark.
