KIARA'S POV
"Hey. Kiara. Is lovely to meet you" said Maya smiling "heard a lot from you"
Heard from me? What have you've been saying mom
I kinda laughed just for politeness and sat down at the table.
"So you're a twelfth grader?" She asked me
Ohh come on women. School now.?
"Yeah. I am. Last year" I said with a smile
"Any idea where jure heading?" She asked me
Really? Really? That question? Come on lady.
"I'm kinda struggling but. Yeah have some kinda idea" I smiled
MAYA'S POV
she didn't recognise me. Or she just does and won't mention it. Damn. This is quite awkward.
"So, you're a firefighter?" Kiara asked me
Oh okay. Okay.
"Yes I am. I work at station 19" I said
"Oh that's just some blocks away from" she said looking at carina
"Yeah" I laughed "yeah close by to the hospital"
"You're the runner" she laughed
Oh boy she does remember. She does.
She laughed again "I mean. Sorry. At the beach you tried to dodge a dog. We literally ran into each other"
Oh God. Okay not that bad she was laughing okay okay.
I laughed and said "oh gosh. Yes. I'm so so sorry about that"
"No worries. Honestly made my run interesting" she said
I'm so messing this up.
KIARA'S POV
Okay. This just can't be worst. More awkward more nothing. I'm leaving. Despite its Monday morning and I've got nothing to do course. Argh damn. Okay I'll just eat my food go to sleep or study.
"Did your friends get their vocational results?" Mom asked
Come on Carina, come on.
"Just Kim. Who already knows. The others are just like me. Wondering" I laughed
Dinner was over. Awkwardness was over. I guess. I headed upstairs as they were talking in the leaving room.
~K: how did things go?!!
~Kiar: Kim you know when things are like "awkward"?
~K: yeah course
~Kiar; okay this. This was another level of awkwardness. Like wanna disappear awkwardness
~K: come on Kiar, course it would be awkward I mean that's not the things you need to consider. How is she? You liked her at least?
~Kiar: I don't know. I mean I'm not sure, like not sure about her.
~K: Wanna come over?
~Kiar: I'll be there in 20
CARINA'S POV
things went quite okay. I mean. They spoke, laughed. Things went okay. I loved Maya could be at my place, she could come over now and she knew Kiara.
Kiara headed over upstairs to do homework or study. Despite I'm not sure what she is studying since she hadn't really chosen her vocation yet.
"Kiara is really alike to you" laughed Maya as she interrupted my thoughts as she sipped her wine
I laughed and asked "what do you mean?"
"You're just fresh, funny, nice" she said smiling
"Well what can I say" I said smiling back
Kiara came down the stairs. She was dressed up. Weird. Monday morning.
"Hey mom" she said as she walked over to grab her car keys "can I go over to Kim's?" She asked
"Don't you two have school tomorrow?" I asked
"Kim doesn't, and Im just picking up vocational results tomorrow afternoon" she explained
Didn't really love the idea of sleeping over at friends during week days. But it was true it wasn't like she had school and she wasn't 10 anymore.
"Okay then" I agreed
"Thanks. Love you" she said and kissed my cheek and faced maya
"Maya it was lovely meeting you. Hope we see each other again soon" she said smiling
"Lovely meeting you Kiara. Good luck with those results" said Maya smiling and Kiara was out quite fast.
Why would she wanna leave. She didn't like maya? Damn. Maybe I forced this way too early. I screwed
KIARA'S POV
"Come in!" I heard Kim yelling from inside so I used my key and walked inside
"Hey gorgeous" she said as she was cooking
"Hey you" I said and sat down at the kitchen looking through at the hallway
"Parents not here. Chicago visiting my aunt" she explained
"Why didn't you come stay home?" I asked as I poured water
"Cause, I've got the whole house just for myself, and since you just came out of quite an awkward dinner and since I'm the best friend someone could wish for." She said
"Okay. You're scaring me" I laughed
"Jack and Tim are coming over" she said
"What?!" I yelled "Kim you should have told me. I'm not even looking that" I said
"You look sexy you look hot you look perfect. Now, stop complaining and go take the ice out." She ordered
"Fine. Mom" I said and obeyed
"You look stressed" she said
"And you are dangerous" I laughed
"True" she laughed

MAYA'S POV
Why would Kiara leave? Did she hated me? Oh gosh I screwed up with her. Damn damn damn.
Pretty much after Kiara left things with Carina moved quite quickly.
"Dr. Deluca?" I laughed as she kissed my neck deeply while on the couch
"Yes? Captain" she said smiling
"You're inspired?" I asked
"Do I have to prove myself?" She said and pulled of my shirt

CARINA'S POV
I love Kiara. More than life itself. But gosh having the house all for myself?
"So? I don't get a house tour?" Said Maya as she kissed me and pushed me against my bedroom door
"Yeah, you totally do. Wanna start with my room?" I asked
"After you" she said and we both went into my room shutting the door behind us
"You know?" I said kissing her neck deeply leading her to my bed
"Know what?" She said breathing deeply
"You're just the first person to come into this room" I said
"Should that make me feel special?" She asked
"I'll make you feel special then" I smiled

KIARA'S POV
"Okay. Okay. Everything done. Hey how many people are coming?" I laughed
"Just. Idk. Not more than 5/6" laughed Kim
"Kim there's alcohol for at least 20 people here" I said as I brought more bottles
"Okay okay. I know. I may have over bought" she laughed
"You think so?" I said as I heard a knock on the door "omg omg Kim! Kim! They are here" I said
"Okay? So? Open the door Kiar?" She laughed
I rolled my eyes and said "no no no, you do it. Please?"
"Grow up. And open that door" laughed Kim
Uff okay okay okay. Holly shit holly shit. He's so freaking hot. Say something dummy
"Hey. Jack" I said as I kissed his cheek
"Wow, you look really cute" he said
"Thanks. You really look good yourself" I said as they all came in
