Saturday 6am

Kiara's POV

*Phone ringing*

"What the...?" Damn 6am what the hell who is calling, I picked up the phone but couldn't hide my sleepy voice "Hello?" I asked and instantly a cheerfull italian voice invaded my room

"Morning my love" I heard the voice of my mom on the phone

"Morning mom" I said as I sat up in bed

"how you doing my bambina?" she said in her usual tone, I had always admired how she could be so happy at everytime and always managed to cheer me up

"Doing great, been missing you. What time are you coming back?" I asked

"Surgery will take longer than we thought, won't make it there in the morning, but I'll be there at midday okay?" she said definently feeling bad for not being home at the time she had said

"no worries! I'll wait for you" I said and could hear how she was being paged "go go, they need you" I said

"go back to sleep, ti amo, see you soon my love" she said and hanged the phone

As she hanged the phone I went directly back to sleep and in seconds I was out.

Maya's POV

Argh I hated the B team, they just sucked, they would always manage to make something wrong, one way or another. Had texted Carina in the middnight since I never really managed to fall asleep while I was on call.

Was planning on texting Kiara, just to check up on how she was feeling, if she had been feeling better, but then noticed it was 6:30 am and she would most likely be sleeping and I didn't want her to hate me."

"Maya?" I heard Andy knocking on my door

"Yeah" I said and she came in laying across in my bed

"can't sleep either" she said "heard some italian is coming back today" she winked and I chuckled

"that's correct" I smiled

"have never seen you like this" she said

"like what?" I asked innocently

"so in love" she said

I was, I was in damn love with Carina. I just fell in love with her in such a short time.

Kiara's POV

My alarm went on at 8, I got up changed drove to the gym and came back home to get showered. On my way back I stopped and bought a bottle of a nice wine as a thank you present for Maya. I had no clue what she actually liked but I knew when she had dinner with mom they always had wine.

I finished getting showered, had breakfast, got changed and hopped into my car and before heading over to Kim's place I'd stop at Maya's station.

I drove all the way to 19 and walked inside where two female firefighters came over to me

"hey" smiled one of them and shook my hand "I'm Andy Herrera" she said as they both stared at me quite confused

"Oh hey, it's a pleasure" I smiled back "I'm..." I began and before I could finish the other one said

"please tell me you're Carina's daughter." they both laughed "otherwise we need to let her know there's a clone of herself walking around"

I laughed and said "I'm indeed her daughter" after they both laughed I remembered about giving the bottle to Maya "oh, I'm looking for Maya" I said "I need to give her thi..." I began and Andy said

"She's been pulled into a meeting but it shouldn't be long tho, she's been in there quite a while" she explained

"oh damn, could I leave it here?" I said "gotta be in class in some minutes" I lied, since I really didn't know anyone there.

"sure, no worries" smiled Andy as I handed her the bottle and she walked me over to the front door. "Want me to say something to Maya?" She asked

"Yeah, just. Tell her I need to talk to her" I smiled

I left the station and hopped in my Car to Drive over to Jake's place

Maya's POV
I'm fed up with this stupid pointless meetings which don't involve my team in any way
As I finished my paperwork, and the tone of it which Dickson had left I jogged downstairs to find everyone in the kitchen chatting about random stuff

"Hey everything done" I smiled as I poured coffee in my cup and turned to see everyone

"What?" I smiled confused as how they were looking at me

"Seems you've got a fans club" laughed Vic making me look even more confused as she handed me a bottle of an amazing wine

"Woah" I said as I took the bottle in my hands

"Yeah" she laughed looking at me

"Seems like the Italians really love you" she said and I realized it was Kiara's wine

"Oh my" I said shocked "did she leave this here?" I asked

Andy nodded

"Carina is coming back today, what am I supposed to do?" I said, I couldn't tell on Kiara but I couldn't not tell Carina.

"I think you should talk to your wine dealer" said Andy and I nodded

Kiara's POV

After being with Jack for a couple hours I headed back home to get everything ready for when mom got home.

I parked my car in my usual spot and as I was about to get off I saw a car coming through the driveway. What the

"hey" I heard a voice as the car lowered it's window. It was Maya

I got out of my car and so did her walking over to me

"hey" I smiled as I unlocked the door "come in" I said

As she came after and I closed the door she stood in the living room

"you didn't have to get me a wine" she said

"course I did" I said

"Kiara..." she began

"no no" I said "I put you in an awful situation and I'm really sorry about it. But I'll get everything cleared with mom once she comes home" I said

"Kiara, don't" she said

"It's not fair Maya, for you to be stuck in this situation because of me" I said

She sat down on the couch and signed for me to go over

"Kiara you're a teenager. I know you screwed up okay, I do know. But even tho it's not the right thing, it's not that weird that a teenager ended up drank." she said "your secret is safe with me okay?" she smiled

I smiled back and said "once again I am really deeply sorry"

"I know you are" she winked

"so, mom will be here anytime soon so you're staying over for lunch" I said and she laughed.
