Part 19

Kiara's POV
I had been discharged already yet my mom had been acting crazy this days. I know I had surgery but she was definitely taking it to an extreme now.

"Mom I can stay alone for a couple hours" I said as she was getting ready for work "I feel just fine"

"You were discharged a day ago you're not staying on your own" she said as she finished getting changed

"Mom I don't need for someone to come babysit me" I said

"Not babysit. Be here just in case" she said "Jo might be able to come or...."

"Mom you don't have to ask Jo to come" I said "I can ask Jack if he wants to come over hang out"

"Not an option" she said as she was checking her purse

"Why not?" I asked

"I need someone who will be actually here just in case not your boyfriend coming over and you two being busy whi..." she started and I cut her off

"Mom!" I said cutting her off

"I'm sorry bambina not an option at all" she said checking her phone "see? Maya will be over in a few"

"Mom you don't need to bother Maya" I said

"Not bother" she said "she will be bring over some stuff and she's got some files to finish you won't even notice she's around"

"Can Jack come over then?" I asked and she shook her head "why not?" I asked

"Cause I don't want the first time for him to come over for him to feel you two are home alone" she said

"We won't be home alone" I said

"It's a no" she said and I sighed

"Fine" I said heading over to my room.

Maya's POV
I got out of the station and drove my way over to Carina's place taking some boxes to start the move in

"Hey" I said as I opened the door to find Kiara in the living room with her laptop

"Hey" she smiled back

"How are you feeling?" I asked as I put some boxes down

"Quite alright" she said as I brought in some boxes

"Do you need help?" She asked

"No no it's alright. You shouldn't be doing any tough work" I said and she nodded "I'll get this stuff upstairs and be back" I said making my way upstairs

I was still trying to figure out how Kiara actually felt about this moving thing. About me living there I wasn't quite certain if she was actually happy about me moving in

I finished putting some stuff away in Carina's room and made my way downstairs to find Kiara making coffee

"Coffee?" She asked and I nodded

"Sure thanks" I smiled as we made our way back to the living room

"Movie?" She asked and I smiled back nodding

Gotta say it did make me happy that she did want to watch a movie with me, made me feel some homey vibes

Kiara's POV
We were watching some random movie with Maya which gotta say was better than expected and I was quite surprised how she was quite focused on the movie.

A couple minutes later I started feeling a bit sleepy, most likely cause I had been FaceTiming Jack over night

I felt my head feeling heavier and a couple seconds I was quite out
