Carina's Daughter

Part 13

Maya's POV
She was in the shower. And I was in Carina's house without her knowing while her daughter was blackly drunk. Amazing
"Andy hey" I said as I picked my phone
"Hey you two made it okay?" She asked kinda worried
"Yeah yeah. Both here. She's not great tho. Need you to act captain for the night and morning" I asked
"Yeah sure. Got it." She said
As I left my phone down I heard quite a noise upstairs and rushed over.
As I walked in I found her on the floor throwing up
"Damn" I muttered as I rushed over to her

Kiara's POV
I was pretty sure I was already burning out the alcohol. As I got out of the shower everything was better till I walked some steps and everything began to spin once again.
Before I could notice I was on the floor and in seconds I was throwing up.
I heard the door opening and Maya coming in. God this just couldn't get worst.
"Easy easy it's okay" she said as she held my hair back.
Once I was done I tried to get up and walk and course I felt my legs trembling to the ground.
"Got you got you" she said as she helped me over to my room and the last thing I remember was that I was laying on my bed.

Maya's POV
She blacked out. I couldn't leave her alone. She had just thrown up. I just couldn't leave her alone
I walked downstairs and made some coffee. checked some mails on my phone and laid down on the couch and because of the long day I had I was out in seconds.
Around 6:30 I was up. I usually got up on my own quite a early. The first seconds I was up were quite confusing till everything came to my mind.
Then I noticed Kiara hadn't come down. I walked over to her room and found her fast asleep. 

Kiara's POV
Holly god. My head feeling as it were to explode any moment now.
I slowly got up from my bed and headed over to the bathroom. Everything came back to my mind. Oh god.
Maya was in my place, she had seen me like that and oh god my mother. Maya had definitely phoned her.
I walked out of my bathroom and got changed. As I walked out of my room I felt the cold hitting me.
I walked downstairs and as I turned to the living room I found her sitting down on the armed chair on her laptop.

"Hey" she said as she found me in the corridor looking at her "how are you feeling?" She asked as she got up

"Feeling better" I lied as she walked into the kitchen and handed me a cup of coffee

"Sure?" She smiled and I kinda shook my head

"Yeah, kinda expected" I said and she nodded

"So.." she began and I was already cursing myself

"Yeah" I said sitting down "what did she say?" I asked waiting to see in what kinda anger my mother would be back

"Who? Carina?" She asked kinda confused

Maya's POV

Damn, she thought I had talked to Carina. She thought I had told on her.

"Kiara I didn't phone your mom" I said as she looked at me in wide surprise

"Wait what?" She asked "you didn't call her?" She asked and I shook my head

"Why?" She asked truly

I took a deep breath and said "cause it's not my place to. It was my place to help you once you appeared in my station. But it's not my place to tell you on to your mom" I said

"Thank you" she said "thank you for helping me. And I'm really truly deeply sorry that you had to see me like that in that state" she said sincerely

I knew she meant it, I knew she was truly apologizing and she really felt it.

Kiara's POV
I couldn't understand yet why she didn't tell on me. She had every single reason to do so. But she didn't.

"So, I need to go into the station since my shift is beginning" she said as she closed her laptop "are you sure you're alright?" She asked

"I am" I smiled as I walked her over to the door "thank you Maya" I said as she smiled back and I had the urge of hugging her, feeling how she hugged me back.

Mayas' POV
"And you won't tell her?" Asked Andy as she followed me to my office

"You think I should?" I asked concerned "haven't told her and not actually planning to" I admitted

"I mean, if Carina never gets to know then everything will be alright. Just, if Carina gets to know and she find out you never told her..." she began and I nodded

"I know. I know, just, I told Kiara I wouldn't tell her, and now.." I said

"You're really fond of her" she smiled at me and I shrugged my shoulders

"I don't know, I just. There's something in her which makes me feel so close to her. Makes me feel I've known her from before" I said and Andy smiled

"I mean, it's great. Great that you two get along and you and Carina can move forward" she said and I nodded happily

Kiara's POV
"You've got to be kidding me" said Kim as she handed me a glass of water

"I'm not okay" I said as I sat down

"How. How on gods name you ended up in that situation Kiara. You're mom is so gonna kill you" she said as she looked at me

"She doesn't know" I said and I could see the confused look in Kim's face "Maya didn't tell her" I clarified

"Oh" she said surprised "now I love her" she said

"It's not funny" I said worriedly "what if my mom gets to know and gets to know she was covering for me" I said

"Well, then. Maybe you should tell her" she suggested

"No way" I said and shook my head "she would kill me"

"She's coming tomorrow morning. I don't see what other options you've got tho" said Kim

"Argh. I so hate this" I sighted

"Yeah, out of the stations we could have ended up in..." she began and I laughed

"Shut up" I said bumping her arm
