As soon as the whistle was blown, I effortlessly passed the ball to Ashton, who began dribbling it up the pitch. A lot of the players were now marked but I wasn't one of them.

"Ashton!" I called, beckoning for the ball. I watched as he looked up and saw me open but instead passed it to Adam, who failed to get it as Michael stepped in front and stole it.

I sighed as Michael and this guy, Oliver, passed it up the pitch together and in one swift kick, scored.

The rest of my team all looked annoyed already and we were only in the first few minutes. Ashton and I took the centre again, but the same thing repeated, and the other team carried on scoring.

Once they were five goals up, i was stood in the middle of the pitch with Ashton waiting for me to pass it to him.

"No," I say. "You pass it to me this time."

"But you-"

I cut him off, "no. You're going to pass it to me, end of story."

He huffs but obliges, kicking the ball towards me. I turn and pass the ball to Jordan, who was open. I run ahead and as I'm running, I get the ball passed to me. I sprint up the pitch - not vampire sprinting but faster than a lot of people - until I'm right in front of the goal.

I kick the ball into the corner of the goal and it goes straight in. I turn around to be met with the cheers of my teammates, a couple of them run up to me as I'm jogging back and they pat me on the back or hug me.

"Well done!" Jordan smiles. "That was amazing."

"Thanks," I reply.

Surprisingly, I see Kyle, who was on the other team, come up to me, wearing a genuine smile. "That was really good."

"Thank you."

"You should play more often."

I grin and jog up the pitch to take get ready for the other team to take a centre.

Ashton stands there, scowling at me, before running off to retrieve the ball from the opposition. He surprises me when he passes it to me, but I get on with the game. We continue to pass to each other up the pitch, until I come face to face with Michael.

"Hello," he smirks, attempting to kick the ball.

However, I pass it behind me to Ashton, without even turning around. "Goodbye," I say, running off.

Ashton and I manage to score again, and I run up the pitch with him, once again being greeted by cheers.

"She's good, isn't she Ash?" Jordan said when we were stood, waiting for the other team to take their kick.

"Mm," Ashton muttered, paying no interest.

Jordan seemed confused but just turned to me, "don't mind him. You did really well."

At the end of the match, we'd ended up winning 6-5. I was just walking off the pitch on my own when someone called my name and I turned to see Jordan jogging my way, leaving his group of friends.

He smiles towards me, "are you coming to McDonald's with us all?"

"Is Mikey going?" I wonder.

"Yeah, we all are," he says. "So, what do you say?"

"Sure," I reply. I had nothing else going on and it'd give me a chance to get to know some of the guys.

We all walked with each other to McDonalds but I barely spoke. Once inside, we pushed two tables together - since there was a lot of us - and then a couple of us went up to get food. I wasn't very hungry, so I just ended up getting fries.
