Tbh it might not seem like a lot but to me, it really is. :)

So. This chapter is pretty short but it's what's written in my notes from when I first started my story so technically it's not my fault. . Anyway! Enjoy :)

"Hey," Mikey says, walking into the room with a small smile on his face. I feel like I haven't even taken into account that I might not see my best friend again once I leave. He's been there for me every time I have ever needed him and vice versa. Who will I have to talk to in Transylvania?

I continue gazing outside from where I'm sat on the window sill. "What did they say?" I frown. I hear him move towards me more and before I know it, he's sat by me.

"They love you, Evi, they're always going to be there for you - wherever you are," he explains. After speaking with Ashton, I'd ran straight to Alexis and I's room, not wanting to hear their reactions.

"And you?"

He shrugs, "I'm not going anywhere. My phone will probably be constantly charged to 100% just to make sure I don't miss your call."

"We both know that isn't true," I chuckle quietly. He smiles.

"Or there's the other choice. ." He trails off.

"Which is?"

"I can stay in your suitcase," he suddenly begins rambling, as if he has it all planned out perfectly. "Listen, I can stay in your room in the castle and you can get a servant to bring me food. They can't eat me if they can't find me-"

"Vampires don't eat people," I roll my eyes. "They drink them."

"That's besides the point," he reaches out his hand towards the window that's covered in condensation. Slowly, he draws two eyes and a straight face over it.

"What're you doing?" I furrow my eyebrows.

He puts long hair onto the person, making it a girl and next to it he draws a guy, which stick limbs. "This."

As he draws two fangs onto the girl, I start laughing. "Wow."

"So we'll always be here," he insists. "It's metaphorical."

"It's stupid," I shake my head, grinning though. "But it's also very sweet and helpful."

"Helpful?"

I nod, "it's helping me to feel better about all of this."

He doesn't say anything, he just stares at the two drawn stick figures on the window. I take his silence as an opportunity to ask something.

"How's Ash?"

He shrugs, "I haven't seen him. I think he went to his room but since Calum has gone back there too, they're probably talking it out."

"That's good."

After a long, intense thirty seconds, he finally asks, "are you going to tell him?"

I furrow my eyebrows again, "tell him what?"

Michael rolls his eyes, "please don't play dumb. We both know what I'm talking about." I continue looking at him with a confused expression so he carries on. "Everyone can see it, apart from you."

"See what?!" I ask, annoyed at him for not coming straight out and saying it.

"Look what you're wearing," Mikey's voice remains neutral, not effected by my annoyed outburst.
