"Evi!" Someone called in the hallway. I turned around to find Peter jogging over to me.

"Hey," I smile.

"Hey," he says. "So I was wondering, what are you doing tonight?"

"Planning ways of getting a social life," I say and Peter laughs a little too over-exaggeratedly.

"You're hilarious," he says. "so, um, I was thinking maybe you'd like to come to dinner with me?"

My eyes widen, "what like-"

"As a date," he says, nodding. "Yeah."

"Uh, I mean-" I begin but get cut off again.

"Cool, so you'll think about it?"

I furrow my eyebrows, "dude I didn't eve-"

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7:30," he says.

"Hey, I was actually talking, I don't know if you've realised but those massive weird shaped things on the side of your head are used to listen. Why don't you use them?" I ask, shaking my head at this guy.

He laughs exaggeratedly again, "cool, so about this date."

"I'll think about it," I say, before turning and walking away.

All through creative writing, I did just that. I thought about the pro's and con's of going on this 'date' with Peter. None of it helped though. So when I got to Alexis' and I's room, I had decided to speak to her about it.

"Good day?" She asks, turning towards me from where she was sat on her chair.

"Was alright," I shrug.

"What's wrong?" She frowns.

I decided to just come out and tell her. I needed advice. "Peter asked me out on a date tonight."

Alexis raises her eyebrows, "did you say yes?"

"I said I'd think about it," I explain. "And that's what I'm doing now."

"Why don't you want to go?" She asks.

"He's a bit.." I waver my hands around in the air, "you know."

"I guess," she says, and then she looks at me seriously, "is it because of Ashton that you don't want to say yes?"

I almost choke on air, "w-what?!"

"I mean, it's been nothing but tension between you two, and I thought maybe you might like each other," she explains.

"That makes no sense!" I insist. "I don't fancy Ashton Irwin!"

Alexis shrugs, "then why not go on this date?"

I sigh, "fine. I'll give Peter a chance, whatever."

When 7:30 came round, I was dressed in jeans, a blue sleeveless top and ankle-boots. I had thought about wearing my black dress that I brought with Alexis, but decided against that idea.

I walked to the door after hearing a couple of knocks. Flinging it open to reveal Peter dressed quite smartly.

"Hello," he says, grinning.

"Er, hi," I say, feeling kinda awkward.

"Let's go!" He says, taking my hand and whisking us towards the lift. His hands felt weird and I kind of wanted to let go because of the awkward way he was holding mine, but I didn't.
