"How'd it go?!" Luke excitedly asked when he entered the lounge that morning.

I had a free morning today so I decided to just chill out in the lounge, since everyone else I knew had lessons. Well, clearly apart from Luke.

"How'd what go?" I ask, playing oblivious due to the fact that Luke is like an over-excited puppy waiting for a treat.

"The date with Ashton!" He says, grinning widely.

I huff and decide to tell him, "we're dating."

Luke's eyes widen, and the grin on his face expands, "wow! I just- wow! This is great!"

"Why're you so excited?" I chuckle.

He comes and sits next to me on the sofa, "because you're both vampires, and you're both dating, and you're both going to have vampire babies."

"Woah," I say, holding up my hand. "Slow down, now. We started dating yesterday."

"Yeah, but you know," he slumps into his seat. "It's exciting."

I chuckle in amusement.

Luke starts watching the movie on the TV that I was previously watching for a while, until he turns to me and asks, "did you kiss?"

I shuffle in my seat, not making eye contact. "Maybe."

"You did! That's cute," he says, grinning again.

I shake my head and smile, looking down at my lap.

"Hey," he says and I look up. "All these couples around me is going to be fabulous. You and Ash, Mikey and Scarlett, Alexis and Calum. Is this a university or a dating site?"

I can't help but laugh at that, and Luke joins in. "Lukey, you'll find your match before you know it."

"Really?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Yeah, maybe you're just not looking hard enough. I mean, for me, Ashton was right in front of me."

Luke and I stayed watching the television up until lunch, when there were footsteps coming from the door. I didn't look up, because it was a good part in the movie, but I saw Luke look up and smile in my peripheral vision.

Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around me from behind, and the person's elbows were resting on the head of the sofa, head by my left ear.

"Hello," the oh-so-familiar voice said.

I looked up and found Ashton staring back at me. I kiss him on the lips, earning a kiss back. He moved his hand to caress my cheek while I hold onto the other one which was now in my lap.

"Hello," I reply, smiling into the kiss.

He pulls away and looks towards Luke, nodding and saying a hello.

"So what have you guys been doing?" Ashton asks, walking around the sofa and sitting next to me, his right hand still in mine and his left arm around my waist.

"Watching a movie," Luke replies when he sees I'm not going too.

"Nice," he says, turning to me, "do you want to go grab some lunch?"

"Sure," I say, getting up and realising I'm just in sweats and a large t-shirt. "Just let me change."

"But you look great in that," he pouts, as I stand up, extending my arm so I can still hold onto his hand.

"Really? Sweatpants?" I raise an eyebrow.

"You could pull off a trash bag," he says, winking.

I try to ignore the blush rising to my cheeks. "Yeah, totally," I say, sarcastically. "I'll be back in a minute."
