Chapter 4 - Land Of Waves Mission Part 1

Y/n pov

".. up.. wa.. up.. wake up.. WAKE UP!!"

'I'm up, I'm up' I said while going into a sitting position.

"What time is it?" I mumbled and looked at my clock. "8.30 am... WAIT, 8.30 AM? DAD WHY DIDN'T YOU- oh wait, he's on a mission. Fuck"

I quickly went to shower and changed into my ninja outfit and put my hair into f/s (favorite style).

Then, I shunshinned to the Hokage tower and was just on time.

"Good morning!!" I exclaimed.

"Good morning Y/n, you came just on time" Kakashi said.

"Yeahh I know, dad is on a mission and I forgot to turn on my alarm. Anyway let's go" I said and walked forward.

Time skip no Jutsu

"Next you can pull weeds... babysit the daimyos grandchild, go shopping for-" The Hokage was cut off by Naruto.

"NO NO NO NO! I DON'T WANT ANY MORE STUPID D-RANK MISSIONS! GIVE US A COOL C-RANK!" He whined.

"Naruto! You guys have just recently graduated-" I tuned Iruka out.

'Nee Tora? Can we continue with my Fuinjutsu training later?' I asked Tora.

"Yes of course, my little tiger" She replied.

"LISTEN!" The Hokage yelled.

"Sorry" Kakashi said but he didn't sound sorry.

"Come on, old man. You treat me like I'm still that troublemaker but I'm a ninja now, dattebayo!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Fine, since Naruto says that he is a ninja now, I'll let you go on a C-Rank Mission. It's a simple escort mission to the land of waves" Lord Hokage said and I shivered a little, Escort as a blind genin? Yeah no thanks.

"Wow cool! Who is it? A prince? A princess?" Naruto asked excitedly.

"Bring in the client" Lord Hokage said.

"Huh what is this? I asked for ninjas not a bunch of snot-nosed brats!" An old drunk man slurred. "Especially the short one with the stupid face, you don't want me to believe that he is a ninja!"

"Haha who is the short one with a stupid face?" Asked Naruto, laughing his ass off.

We all stood in a line with Sasuke first, then Sakura, then Naruto and lastly me. Naruto looked angrily at our client.

"Don't you dare call N/n that! I'll demolish you!" He yelled.

"Uhm Naruto, I don't go by he/him pronouns. I think that he meant you" I said quietly.

"Wha- I'LL DEMOLISH YOU!!" He yelled and ran at him but Kakashi caught Naruto at his collar and held him up.

"Naruto, you can't demolish our client." He said.

"Anyway, my name is Tazuna and I'm the master bridge builder. I want you to bring me home safely, even if it means giving your life" Our client, now identified as Tazuna, said.

"Alright, everyone met at the gate in half an hour" Kakashi said and everyone left.

"Do you need something Y/n?" The Hokage asked when he noticed that I still hadn't left.

"Yes, this is a C-Rank Escort Mission, right?" I asked.

"Yes, why do you ask my child?" He answered.

"Because Mr. Tazuna seemed very nervous and we do not need to put our life on the line on a simple C-Rank escort mission" I said.

"Very observant. Okay, you'll get an extra mission. Make sure that nothing happens to Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto. This will be an A-Rank Mission" He said seriously.

"Alright, thanks sir gramps! I'll do my best, ya know blind and all. Please tell dad that I'm on the mission so he doesn't get worried!" I said and shunshinned to the gate.

'Tora?' I asked.

"Yes, my little tiger?" She asked.

'Can you teach me a seal while we're waiting?" I asked.

"Yeah, of course. Do you have something in mind?"

'How about a gravity seal?' I exclaimed.

Then, I took the remaining time of waiting to learn how to do gravity seals. I did this, by drawing the seals in the dirt until Tora said that I got it right.

I quickly drew it on my wrists and ankle and activated them. I was very happy to find out that it worked.

Gravity seals aren't like weights, one gravity seal gives your whole body a little more gravity. Because of that, your whole body will be harder to hold up. So more and harder gravity seals = Very heavy body and good training.

Everyone finally arrived and we took off. Naruto was happy to be outside of the village, Sakura was talking to Tazuna and Sasuke and Kakashi were just walking in silence.

'I feel like I'm the only one who has their guard up. Like seriously, as ex-anbu Kakashi-sensei should know that you always have to have your guard up' I ranted in my head.

After a while of walking, I saw a puddle. I glanced at Kakashi and it seems that he noticed, it hadn't rained in weeks.

Then came chains out of the puddle and wrapped around Kakashi, who got torn apart. It was a substitution but the others all believed it.
