Chapter 18 - The Finals Part 1

Y/n pov

When I woke up, I realized that I was home alone but didn't really think about it at first.

I dressed on my ninja attire and put my h/l hair in a ponytail. I walked into the kitchen to make something to eat when I saw the calender and realized that I was like- super late for the finals.

I quickly put my shoes on and shunshinned to the arena. I ran up to where the others were and over to Naruto.

"Why didn't you guys wake me up" I asked him.

"We went to the Hokage because of the adoption and came here right after, sorry" He said and I sighed.

"When is it my turn?" I asked him.

"Your next" He said.

I nodded and made my way down. I stood beside the door and waited until they called me and my opponent in.

"Y/n Morino-Senju against Ekiko Hanje" Said the proctor.

'Why is she here again, didn't I win?' I asked Tora.

"Sorry little tiger but I don't know" Tora answered.

I walked in the Arena and Ekiko came from the other side. We looked at each other, nodded and looked at the proctor.

'Who even is that' I thought.

"START"

Ekiko ran at me and tried to kick my feet off the ground but I jumped up. She then appeared behind me and kicked me in the back.

I was sent forward a bit but not much. I turned around and looked at her. I smiled and jumped into the tree.

"Quick question, are we allowed to use our summons?" I asked while looking at the proctor.

"Yes" He answered.

I smirked and jumped back down and about 10 meters in front of her. I quickly bit in my thumb and did the summoning Justu.

"Summoning Jutsu!" I yelled and Tora appeared beside me, she was now about as big as a horse.

"Form three!" I yelled and felt my ears, tails, teeth and nails grow, my senses got better and my snake tail grew.

If you forgot, my hair are black in the tips. I have the purple thingy around my eyes and snake teeth. When I'm in one of the forms, my snake teeth deform to fox teeth but they are still poisonous.

My vision cut itself off when I activated the form but I didn't really need it anyway.

"Yeah, Y/n is going to win this" I heard Naruto say and smirked, knowing that everyone was confused and at the same time interested in my forms.

3rd person pov

Ekiko was confused as to why Y/n looked like that right now but didn't really think about that.

She took Kunai with bombs and threw them around Y/n. While doing that, she completely forgot about the big tiger who stood right in front of Y/n.

Y/n though wasn't really worried because she knew that Ekiko would forget about Tora.

So when she felt something buzz last her, she just stood completely still.

"Tora!" She yelled and the big tiger took one of her tails picked them up.

Ekiko cursed under her breath and decided to attack them straight on.

She ran at them and tried to stab Tora but the big tiger just puffed out of existence.

"Ha, now you don't have your dumb tiger to protect you anymore!" She yelled but Y/n just smirked.

"You see, that's where you're wrong. My dumb tiger stopped me from going all out on you but now that she's gone, good luck" She said and suddenly stood behind Ekiko with their arm around her shoulder.

"I overslept and didn't get to hear all the rules, is killing aloud?" They asked.

"Yes"

"Alright~" Y/n said and stood back in front of Ekiko.

They smiled evily at Ekiko and took their Kusanagi. Y/n could hear Naruto gasp a little and sent a small smile in his direction.

Y/n then disappeared and reappeared behind Ekiko and then disappeared again and appeared in another place of the Arena.

This was something like their personal 'Jutsu' because they used it often and knew nobody who used it.

Ekiko tried to keep up with
Y/n but wasnt able to. So I stead, she took two Kunai in each hand and waited.

But that didn't work well because in one moment you saw Ekiko standing there and in the next you saw her body in two and Y/n standing next to it.

"Done" They said and turned back to normal.

"Y/n Morino-Senju is the winner!" Genma said and they turned to walk back up to Naruto.
