A/N 'Y/n and Naruto talking per mindlink'
3rd person pov
Y/n woke up late today and had to make herself ready fast because they had to get to the Chunin Exams.
She changed, brushed their hair and teeth and strapped her weapons on.
When she left, they stopped by a shop and bought f/d. They then went to the academy.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late, I overslept." She said and they all walked in.
"Nee Naruto, wanna make a mindlink? It works through Kurama and Tora" She told him.
"Yeah sure, dattebayo! What do we have to do?" He asked.
"We have to make these hand signs: Horse > boar > Snake > monkey and concentrate on me" Y/n said and they both did it.
'Did it work?' She asked through the mindlink.
'Yes, dattebayo! Do you hear me?' Naruto answered.
"This is so cool" Y/n said and he nodded in agreement.
Y/n pov
"Are you Sakura Haruno?" I suddenly heard Lee and realized that we were standing in front of team Gai.
"Uh yes why?" She answered.
"Please be my girlfriend! I wove to protect you with my life!" He exclaimed and I laughed.
"OH Y/N, MY LOVELY RIVAL! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?" Lee yelled when he finally noticed me.
"Hi Lee, I'm fine. How are you?" I asked back.
"OH I'M YOUTHFULLY GOOD" He yelled.
"That's nice.. Why are we standing on the second floor?" I asked.
"How did you see through our Genjutsu?" Two other people said.
"Here is a Genjutsu?" I whispered to Naruto, hearing him laugh a little "Can we just go now?"
"Yeah guys, let's go" Sasuke said.
"Oh of course, Sasuke-kun~" Sakura said and I sighed.
We walked for a few minutes and came into a big room when we were stopped by Lee.
He wanted to fight Sasuke and Sasuke agreed. Damn I hate Sasukes ego and cockyness.
"Nee Sakura?" I asked because Naruto was knocked out and Sasuke was fighting.
"What do you want, can't you see that I'm watching Sasuke-kun fight?" She said annoyed.
"I'm going to the room. I can't see the fight so it is just very boring for me right now" I said.
"Why don't you just go? Nobody cares, you're just an obstacle for Sasuke! Just get lost, nobody needs you!" Sakura spat.
"Oh sorry" I whispered and wade my way to the door. A tear fell from my eye but I just wiped it away before someone saw.
I arrived at the door to 'see' Kakashi. He was confused for a moment and then began talking.
"Are you the only one, Y/n? Sorry but I can't let you in if the team isn't here" He said.
"N-no their co-coming soon" I whispered. I tried to not let him hear that I was just crying but it didn't work.
"What happened?" He asked, concerned.
"Oh- nothing to worry about Kakashi-Sensei! The others are in some big room. Sasuke is fighting with Lee, a student from Gai, Sakura is fawning over Sasuke and Naruto is knocked out" I said.
"Hmmhmm" He began "I don't believe you but I won't force you to tell me what happened."
He was gonna say something else too but just then, Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura arrived.
"Ah, I see that you're all here. I'm proud of you Sakura. You can go in the room now, good luck" Kakashi said and shunshinned away.
We walked in to see many other Genin from our village and other villages.
They all looked at us but soon turned back around. Ino came and slung herself at Sasuke, which made Sakura pissed off.
They all argued and talked until a guy with white hair and glasses came and told us to be quieter.
"And who might you be, 'ttebayo" Naruto asked suspiciously.
"Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Kabuto Yakushi, you guys must be the new rookies from this year." He said.
'Tora' I began.
"I know. If Kabuto is here, it must mean that your father is here too" She said.
'Do you think that he is searching for me?' I asked her.
"Yes, of course. You are his child after all" She said.
"Can you show me Gaara of the Sand and Rock Lee of the leaf.." He said. ".. and Y/n Morino-Senju of the leaf"
I looked at Sasuke shocked.
"Okay, first Gaara. He is a Genin from Sunagakure and the son of the Kazekage. In his team are his siblings Temari and Kankuro." He said and told us about his missions, skill and one B rank.
"Then we have Rock Lee of the leaf. He is a Genin from last year rookies and his teammates are Tenten and Neji Hyuga" He said and talked about his missions and skills.
"And lastly we have Y/n Morino-Senju of the leaf. She use she/they pronouns and is a Genin of this year rookies although they could have already graduated three years ago.
Her teammates are Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki. She is a sensory, Kenjutsu and Taijutsu type. They also have the wood release.
She already did 35 D-Ranks, 5 C-Ranks, 1 B-Rank, 2 A-Rank, 10 S-Rank and 2 SS-Rank missions" He ended and everyone looked at me shocked.
"Uhm, hihi?" I said and was immediately bombarded with questions.
But to my luck, a smoke bomb went off and dad stood in the room together with 100 other Chunin.
"Listen here you brats, the Chunin Exams have now officially started"
