Raou was the second born from his parents, the first being Hiroko, his sister. His sister was their pride and joy, always mannerly and polite, sophisticated as well.
However they never tried anything with their son. He was a mistake in their eyes so they resented him. To avoid having to deal with son's ordeals, they sent him off for 340 days of the year to be in boy scouts.
While this furthered his leadership skills, it stunted his emotional growth and understanding. Eventually he grew to resent his sister for always having their parents acceptance and adoration.
Fearful that he would effect their daughter negatively, when we was home for that short period, they put him in a locked room, barely checking up on him. He may have been home but he was well and truly hated.
But as a child he went to school with a pretty little girl with purple hair and silver eyes. He never remembered her name though, a side effect from the lack of growth as a child. But he always remembered how kind she was.
But as his parents learned of his friend and crush, they took him out of school to be permanently placed in boy scouts. And to separate the Kusu siblings further, Hiroko was put into a private boarding school in China to live with her aunt. Where she was properly taken care of, loved and recieving splendid schooling.
Finally Raou had enough. He had packed his things and was ready to leave but not before seeing the letter addressed to him on the kitchen table...
Success Granted High School, huh?
